Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or you just want to show someone how much you love them, here are some of the best gifts for the TV fan in your life.

Love ‘Lucifer’? Hangry for ‘Hannibal’? All the best gifts for bingewatchers

We don’t know if you noticed, but we’ve reported a lot about the Shadowhunters fandom in recent times and their campaign to have their show saved after Freeform cancelled it back in June.

Not only is the show a solid addition to the supernatural genre that offers diverse storylines and depictions of LGBTQI and female characters that are unrivaled by other young adult shows on TV right now, but it’s also got one of the most dedicated fandom whose love for their characters and their storylines is one that knows no borders.

Like a group of determined demon hunters, the reaction to the show’s cancellation has been nothing short of extraordinary and has led to the hiring of a #SaveShadowhunters pedicab that circled SDCC, a billboard in Times Square to promote their campaign, and ads placed in Seoul subway stations. The fandom also raised over $21,000 for The Trevor Project, a charity providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQI youth.

But why so much effort? Simply put, the ShadowFam love their show and they love each other like a family too.

However, Shadowhunters isn’t the only show to enjoy such a devoted following. In fact, numerous cancellations in recent times have seen similar campaigns whereby viewers have flocked to social media to take action and ensure their beloved show is saved – Colony, Lucifer, Timeless, Hannibal, Everything Sucks!, and The Expanse, to name but a few.

This is the age of the fandoms, people, and we’re with them every step of the way.

If you or a loved one is a member of a fandom, why not show them you’ve got their back by gifting them a memento of the show that they’re rooting for? There’s some fantastic merch floating around on the internet, from tees, to accessories, to signed scripts.

Everyone loves presents, right? So whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or heck, you just want to show your buddy or relative how much you love them, here are some of the best gifts available to buy for the fan in your life.

Hannibal cookbook

Yep, now you can fry up some liver with some fava beans and nice chianti with the Feeding Hannibal: A Connoisseurs Cookbook ($20.36). Filled with easy-to-follow recipes inspired by the NBC show (using animal meat where Dr. Lecter would’ve used human flesh, obvs) and created by its food stylist Janice Poon, each recipe is accompanied with beautiful artwork and insightful anecdotes, so your giftee can rustle up some culinary delicacies while brushing up on your Hannibal knowledge.

We also suggest this eco friendly jute bag, even Hannibal with his fine taste would approve it.

Colony propaganda poster

There are a number of Colony-themed gifts you can purchase from the USA network’s website, but our fave has to be this Cold War-style propaganda poster.

Falsely stating “Salvation Awaits in the Seattle Colony”, the unique art appears in several episodes of S3, including on flyers found by Amy and Broussard as well as posters and billboards seen by the Bowman family. It’s a little dear for a gift at $26.95, but get it framed and your recipient has a Colony memento for life.

Lucifer Morningstar Funko Pop!

Yep, a fellow Lucifer fan has gone to the effort of making a Lucifer Morningstar Funko Pop! figurine. Since it’s custom-made, it will cost you a few dollars (just over $57) and they’re in limited supply. So if you want one for yourself or your fan buddy, be sure to get in there while they’re still up for sale! It’ll surely make a fiery addition to anyone’s collection.

Shadowhunters Lightwood family necklace

While this Lightwood family heirloom replica might not pulse and glow in the presence of demons, it certainly looks a heck of a lot like the real deal. Why not buy one as a gift and just pretend like it’s a demon sensor? Shadowhunters is all about fantasy, after all.

At $9.99, it’s almost definitely not precious metal and could very well turn your neck green, but hey – that’s all part and parcel of being a dedicated member of the ShadowFam, right?

Everything Sucks! stickers

Get a load of these rad AF Everything Sucks! stickers. At just two dollars a pop, you can afford to cover your walls in them like you probably did as a teen back in the 90s and give them out as gifts even to your enemies in the school corridors.

Firefly Browncoats perfume

Yeah, that’s right Firefly fans. You might’ve already dressed up as a Browncoat, you might even be a Browncoat now that the name’s used to describe fans of the show, but have you ever smelt like a Browncoat?

No? Now you can make this dream you never knew you had a reality by purchasing this Browncoat perfume. It might just be a regular roll-on leather scent (with a Christmasy twist according to commenters) with a Browncoat label stuck on, but hey – you’ve blown your money on sillier things and you can at least use it to show the fellow fandom members that you’re officially a “scented geek”. And surely that glory is priceless in a gift.

Pilot script signed by the Timeless crew

Owning a pilot script for the time-travel saga Timeless would be rad, but owning a script that you know had been in the hands of your favorite star from the show would be out of this world.

There are a fair few signed pilot episode reprint scripts floating around on the internet at ridiculously low prices, but if you’re looking for the real deal (with a certificate of authenticity to go with your purchase), you can bag one for just shy of $200 on eBay for your gift-giving goodness, whether yesterday or tomorrow.

The Expanse tee

There are a buttload of different t-shirt designs based on Syfy’s The Expanse, but we reckon this black & white Outer Planets Alliance-themed one is by far the most stylish and subtle for gifts. Plus you can pretend you’re part of an outerspace sociopolitical movement while you’re wearing it. And at just $19.99 per shirt? It’s a no-brainer!
