Prince Andrew: When will he answer questions about Jeffrey Epstein?
Allegations regarding Prince Andrew’s involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking scandal have been flying around for months. From protesters gathered outside of the Buckingham palace to being practically disowned by his royal parents, Prince Andrew has been feeling the heat.
Mama always said a man is known by his friends. Considering the fact Prince Andrew was still palling around with Epstein after his initial conviction for procuring an underage girl for prostitution, many think it’s likely Prince Andrew is culpable for sex crimes himself. When you and a well known sex offender appear to be as thick as thieves, it’s fair to have a few eyebrows raised at you.
Whether or not the rumors or accusations are true, nobody knows yet. This is exactly the reason the public and alleged victims are anxious to see whether the prince will be made to answer for himself. Is Prince Andrew being unfairly swept up in the firestorm Epstein’s life and death left behind? Or will the many pointed fingers lead to an entire hamper of criminal dirty laundry?
Prince Andrew’s associations with Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine
Epstein associated with many rich and powerful people, Prince Andrew included. The book Sex, Lies and Dirty Money by the World’s Powerful Elite claims that although there is no proof that Andrew slept with any underaged girls, people knew he was using Epstein to acquire women to sleep with. One interviewee even said Prince Andrew had a sex addiction fueled by an inferiority complex concerning his brother.
If this really is the case it makes sense that Epstein and Andrew would be two peas in a pod since Epstein is suspected of having had a sex addiction himself. While some might think of Epstein as the ultimate wingman, many think of him as the ultimate dirty schmuck. Even Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell go way back. Andrew’s know Ghislaine since her university days and even threw a thirty-ninth birthday party for her.
What does Prince Andrew have to say about the matter?
Remember this line? “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Clinton’s infamous denial of sexual activity has practically become the poster child for blatant lies. Whenever someone is accused of something they have the right to defend themselves. Many are wondering what Prince Andrew has to say about the accusations being thrown at him, including the ones about sex with a minor.
The prince has spoken briefly on the topic in order to wave away any allegations, but he has yet to be forced to answer questions at length. Prince Andrew told a BBC Panorama programme in November of 2019: “I can tell you categorically I don’t remember meeting [Virginia Giuffre] at all. I do not remember a photograph being taken and I’ve said consistently and frequently that we never had any sort of sexual contact whatsoever.”
Buckingham palace expressed similar sentiments saying that accusations were “false and without foundation”. Of course it wouldn’t be the first time sexual allegations were “emphatically denied” only to be exposed as true later on.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, alleged victim said to have been forced to pleasure Prince Andrew at age seventeen, had something different to say on the matter. “I’m calling BS on this, because that’s what it is,” Giuffre said. “He knows what happened. I know what happened, and there’s only one of us telling the truth, and I know that’s me,” she told the BBC.
Will recent developments prompt Prince Andrew to tell all?
Giuffre gave a pretty detailed account of her alleged encounter with Prince Andrew. She says although she was repulsed by Prince Andrew’s profuse sweating at a dance club she knew she “had to keep him happy because that’s what Jeffrey and Ghislaine would have expected. . . .” Giuffre also says she was given instructions by Ghislaine “to do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey”.
With such confident accusations being thrown at Prince Andrew, and the justice system finally taking further looks into the case, the future might be grim for the prince. Ghislaine has undergone a second deposition so the pressure has increased even more for Prince Andrew. His name even came up during the course of the interview.
Since names have been redacted in several places from the deposition, it’s unknown what exactly Prince Andrew’s name came up concerning, but people suspect the redacted places are spots where Andrew came up in the interview. Since the deposition has been released to the public you can even look it up for yourself if you want to.
As for Ghislaine, she maintains the claim she knows of no illicit or underage activities that took place with Epstein. Only time will tell if and when Prince Andrew will have his turn in the hot seat.
