Which of Rege-Jean Page’s forthcoming roles have been confirmed? We’re diving into what’s next for the alluring actor.

Is Regé-Jean Page Netflix’s new “it” boy? See all his upcoming projects

With the hit series Bridgerton becoming Netflix’s biggest original series ever, it’s not surprising the company would want to cling to the swoon-worthy poster boy Regé-Jean Page who plays the dashing Duke of Hastings. Anyone who gets a taste of the handsome actor in Bridgerton will irrevocably want more.

A widespread consensus on Page’s excellence as an eye-candy & talented actor has brought him numerous accolades. Regé-Jean Page’s breakout role in Bridgerton scored him a SAG award and an NAACP Image Award noms for his performance.

Since the Netflix series caught fire, the world has been thirsting over Regé-Jean Page and he has even been rumored to be the next James Bond (though this is not confirmed.) But which of Page’s forthcoming roles have been confirmed? We’re diving into what’s next for the alluring actor.

The Gray Man

The newest Regé-Jean Page project to be announced is called The Gray Man which Netflix quickly snatched up when the Sony-developed project went on the market over the summer. The big-budget film will feature big names alongside Page like Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana De Armas.

Production of The Gray Man, written by Joe & Anthony Russo, will start up in two weeks in Los Angeles. The film is based on the novel by Mark Greaney which is the first in the book series, published in 2009.

The story follows the “Gray Man” who is a freelance assassin alongside former CIA operative Court Gentry (Gosling). The Gray Man is an action thriller that focuses on Gentry “as he’s hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort at the CIA.”

Dungeons & Dragons

Paramount Pictures announced that Regé-Jean Page Jonathan is confirmed to be in the upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons – and playing the leading role too! Joining his side will be Chris Pine as well as Michelle Rodriguez & Justin Smith. Additionally, Hugh Grant has been cast in the main antagonist role – a character named Forge Fletcher.

Dungeons & Dragons is based off of a script from Michael Gilio and directed by Johnathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley – the minds behind Game Night. Little has been disclosed about the movie’s actual plot or premise, but we do know it’ll be based off of the popular fantasy role-playing game from Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons & Dragons

We can only imagine how Regé-Jean Page will transform into a strapping young adventurer in a story filled with fighting & magic. What quest will he go on? Will the film be a mixture of modern-day roleplaying and in-game fantasy theatrics? We can’t wait to find out.

What to watch in the meantime

Regé-Jean Page has gone from relative obscurity to superstardom in no time. With the success of Bridgerton, we have no doubt the roles will come pouring in beyond Dungeons & Dragons and The Gray Man. But sadly, these are the only titles that have been officially announced so far.

If you’re itching for more of Page right this second, you can tune into these other fantastic projects featuring Regé-Jean Page. (We won’t mention Bridgerton, of course, because who hasn’t seen the period drama sensation yet?)

Saturday Night Live

Page hosted Saturday Night Live, the iconic comedy sketch show, last month – an episode no one missed. (And if you did miss it we recommend you catch the whole thing.) Who knew he could sing as well as he could dance? His charisma was off the charts and it just gave you more of an opportunity to gaze into those dreamy dark eyes.

For the People

Just like Bridgerton, For the People is a Shondaland production which stars Page in 2018. Page plays an Assistant U.S. Attorney named Leonard Knox who has to handle high-profile & high-stakes federal cases in the country. And of course, the drama is twofold as personal lives influence the lawyers in the courtroom.

Sylvie’s Love

Hoping to find another romance with Regé-Jean Page? You must check out Sylvie’s Love, a romance set in the Civil Rights era following an intimate story of Sylvie (Tessa Thompson) who encounters an old acquaintance Rombert (Nnamdi Asomugha) with whom she clearly falls for.

Love is also in the air for Slyvie’s cousin Mona (Aja Naomi King) who has the sweet pleasure of romancing Robert’s bandmate Chico (played by Regé-Jean Page.) We’ll leave the premise at that and hope you give it a shot to see more of Page’s acting talent.
