Should ‘Manifest’ be saved? These quotes should convince you
A show like Manifest doesn’t come around often. There are so many redeeming qualities about the show that it’s no wonder at all so many fans were concerned & upset by the news of the show getting canceled. And after all of the season 3 finale cliffhangers we were left with? Not cool!
Originally, the show’s creator Jeff Rake had plans for the show to run for at least six seasons, but we aren’t sure if that’s actually going to happen – yet.
Manifest quotes coming from the show’s creator & awesome cast members give us a little more hope & faith that we’ll be able to get at least another season to finally wrap things up properly.
Jeff Rake’s Manifestation quote
Jeff Rake took to Twitter to encourage fans of the show to hold onto their passion. He tweeted, “Manifesters! Your support is awe-inspiring. We’re trying to find a way to conclude the series. Could take a week, a month, a year. But we’re not giving up. You deserve an end to the story. Keep the conversation alive. If it works out, it’s because of YOU. #SaveManifest.”
The tweet received a lot of positive responses from fans of the show who promised not to give up. Speculation about NBC picking up the show for renewal has been going around and Rake was quick to respond to that as well via his Twitter account. He wrote, “Lots of speculation out there. No comment. Other than, if the impossible happens and the dead rise again, it’s because of YOU.”
He added the same hashtag as his previous Tweet. His Manifest quotes certainly make us feel a bit more hopeful. The fact that he’s refusing to give up on snagging a renewal speaks volumes.
Josh Dallas’s Manifest quote
Josh Dallas is the actor behind the role of Ben Stone in the show. His Manifest quote about the end of the hit drama was pretty heartfelt and he posted it to Instagram. He wrote, “Well, my #manifesters, I’m sorry to say that it’s the end of the line for now. We are so proud to have brought you this story over 3 seasons. We so wished we could’ve finished the journey with you. But it wasn’t in the cards.”
He continued, “Thanks to our incredible EP’s, producers, writers, directors, stunning cast and the best damn crew in the business. Thanks to @WarnerBrosTV and @NBC for giving us a home. And lastly, thank you to the fans who embraced #manifest and these characters and flew with us on #flight828. I love you all . . . onwards! Ben Stone, out.”
The main note we can take away from his Manifest quote is that he said it’s the end of the line for now. That doesn’t mean forever!
Melissa Roxburgh’s Manifest quote
Melissa Roxburgh did so well taking on the role of Michaela Stone, and fans hope to see her continue handling business in the future. She discussed the end of the show on Instagram saying, “Oh, to put into words the last three years . Thanks for everyone who joined on with us. I’m forever grateful for the family of misfits and creators that wound up at Silvercup studios.”
She added, “When you film a show, you spend all day every day with these people. They truly become your family, your friends, your therapists, your entertainment . . . everything. You guys have no idea what you’ll forever mean to me. I’ve had some of the greatest days of my life on the stages of Manifest, playing pretend with people who have seeped into my heart.”
Since filming the show felt like such a family affair to Roxburgh, it would seem too unfair for the show not to get picked up for renewal. We don’t yet know what will happen next but hopefully NBC, Netflix, or another network will step up and do the right thing. Too many fans are counting on it.
