Ghislaine Maxwell has been charged with aiding Jeffrey Epstein in his sexual abuse. But how did Maxwell recruit these young girls?

Ghislaine Maxwell: We know how she recruited girls for Jeffrey Epstein

After the Jeffrey Epstein sex-trafficking scheme became public, many were quick to wonder how his terrible crimes lasted for so long and how he managed to find his victims in the first place. These curiosities can finally be put to rest now that we have more information over Epstein’s sexual abuse scandal.

Earlier this year, Epstein’s partner & alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, was charged with aiding Epstein’s sexual abuse. The indictment alleged that Maxwell exploited girls as young as fourteen. She has pleaded not guilty and is currently being held without bail in a Brooklyn prison.

Choosing the girls

Maxwell reportedly sought out girls to introduce to Epstein, knowing perfectly well he abused them. A report was published earlier this month in which Molly Skye Brown, now forty-two, stated Maxwell tried to recruit her as a masseuse in 1992 when she was only fourteen years old.

Brown stated she had been working in a childcare facility in a Palm Beach gym when Maxwell first approached her. Brown had been the only person working at the time when Maxwell walked by and stopped to talk to her. “She looked me up and down, then came into the gym, walked to the front counter, and I could hear her say: ‘I’m not going to be long, I just want to talk to this girl,’” Brown said.

Like many other victims, Molly Brown came forward with her story, hoping to unite other sexual assault survivors and encouraging them to stick together. Although Brown reported Maxwell to the FBI in the past, Brown was told she didn’t have a case.

Preying on the innocent

Brown said Maxwell first introduced herself as a modeling scout, handed her a business card, and told her she could “easily pass for eighteen years old.” These words meant a lot to Brown at the time, who had been pursuing jobs in modeling, acting, and singing.

Maxwell reportedly offered Brown jobs as a Victoria’s Secret model & a masseuse. (We’re still very curious how Maxwell managed to bring up masseuse in the conversation.)

As for the Victoria’s Secret job, Epstein managed the money of Les Wexner, the former CEO of Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, L Brands. Epstein presented himself as a recruiter for Victoria’s Secret as a tactic to lure in young women.

After Epstein’s sex scandal went public, Wexner wrote a letter to the employees at L Brands, stating he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes before 2019 – even if Epstein was a convicted pedophile since 2008. (You might want to do a little more research before you hire someone to manage your money.)

Seeing past the deception

Luckily, Molly Brown told Maxwell she preferred acting & singing than being a masseuse, to which Maxwell responded: “Well, if you change your mind, I have a lot of modeling opportunities.” (Yeah, “modeling” opportunities. We’re glad Brown was able to spot the lies before it was too late.)

“She was just a predator prowling the streets I have no doubt,” Brown said. “I’ve now had others tell me that I’m exactly the type. I fit the bill perfectly.” Brown said she heard stories that Maxwell had roamed the shops of Orlando’s Altamonte Mall looking for other girls to “recruit.” Unfortunately, Maxwell’s lawyer couldn’t immediately be reached for comment on the report.

More & more information about the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal and Ghislaine Maxwell’s involvement continues to make headlines. As Maxwell’s July trial approaches, will we uncover any more dirt? Justice will be served sooner than later!
