A lot of new faces have come into part 3, and it’s no surprise some of them truly come into their own in 'Money Heist' season 4. Here's what we know.

‘Money Heist’ season 4: The key players to watch out for

Considering it feels like March lasted a whole decade, it feels like years since part 3 of Money Heist hit Netflix. Yet, it’s only been 9 months. Regardless, we’re finally getting answers as the hit Spanish series returns to the streaming giant in our time of need.

In case you need a refresher of where we stand: Nairobi (Alba Flores) is clinging to life after getting shot by a sniper ordered by Alicia (Najwa Nimri). Lisbon (Itziar Ituno) is actually alive after attempting but failing to escape the cops, but thanks to a gunshot over her intercom, the Professor (Alvaro Morte) thinks she’s dead.

In turn, the Professor ordered Rio (Miguel Herran) and Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) to use their grenade launchers on a police assault vehicle to show that this is now war. There goes any chance of a peaceful surrender.

None of this is simple stuff. But at their point, neither is the cast. A lot of new faces have come into part 3, and it’s no surprise some of them truly come into their own in Money Heist season 4. So if you haven’t gotten a chance yet to catch up with the gang in part 4, we’re here to quickly give you a brief overview of who’s who, and who you need to look out for, spoiler free.

Alicia Sierra

The new inspector of the National Police Corps after a certain someone quit, Alicia is here to kick ass and eat any snack her pregnant butt desires. We already knew we were in a different ballgame with Alicia based on her negotiations with the Professor and Lisbon.

But unlike Lisbon, she’s not afraid to take lives in the process. She manipulated Nairobi into going in front of a window to get shot. She’s the reason Rio has PTSD from being buried alive as a torture technique. The game of cat and mouse Alicia is playing is looking a lot more bloody than Lisbon’s ever did.

Cesar Gandia (Jose Manuel Poga)

While the chief of security for the Bank of Spain went quietly before, we know from the trailers he doesn’t stay quiet. Somehow, he finds his way into a room with monitors and a phone line, ready to make contact with the outside world. Even with everything going on, Gandia is refusing to go quietly.

We know from our experience with Arturo that if a hostage is refusing to go quietly, it’s not long before other hostages rise up. If the group can neutralize him quickly, he won’t be too much of a nuisance. But the longer Gandia stays near technology, the more of a threat he becomes.

Palmero (Rodrigo de la Serna)

The new Berlin, Palmero is loyal to the plan and being in charge. Not the team, not the Professor, and definitely not to the hostages. He may have the leadership capability, but he definitely is not a team player.

A man with power like Palmero is dangerous if he’s in it for the wrong reasons. Especially since we know Tokyo is a loose cannon who fails to follow the rules, and also tried to overthrow Berlin, it’s only a matter of time before she does the same to Palmero. Let’s just hope Palmero can find some humility.

Marseille (Luka Peros)

Shocker, the guy working with the gang on the outside is going to be useful when everything goes to hell. Since Lisbon is gone, the Professor needs another partner outside of the bank to try and help fix whatever problems arise.

Already we’ve seen he’s useful when he tried to help lure some of the police activity away from the Professor and Lisbon. He’ll be key in helping get Lisbon out of police custody and helping the gang finish the heist.

Colonel Luis Tamayo (Fernando Cayo)

Just like how Raquel’s boss Luis Prieto was key in how things went down, Tamayo is the same for Alicia. He wants to see this case solved, but with as little bad press for the police force as possible. Of course, Alicia wants to play the game her way, no matter who she takes down.

If Alicia continues to play hardball like she has been, and even ends up responsible for Nairobi’s death, that’s not going to look pretty for the police. Already they’re in trouble for torturing Rio and not giving him a fair trial. One more strike and Alicia might find herself out of a job.
