‘Queen of the South’ season 4: All the questions we still have

Any good show leaves you with some questions at the end of a season and 'Queen of the South' season 4 is no different. Here's what we know.

‘Queen of the South’ season 4: All the questions we still have

Any good show leaves you with some questions at the end of a season and Queen of the South is no different. While we’ve already made our guesses as to who’s going to die in Queen of the South season 5, there are still a number of questions we’ve been left with at the end of Queen of the South season 4.

Some of our most obvious questions after the end of Queen of the South season 4 are: where did James come from, what happened to him, and who’s coming for Teresa? Though the trailer gives us a little hint that it could be the DEA or maybe the Russians, this isn’t even close to all the questions we still have.

Is Eddie a government snitch in Queen of the South season 5?

Teresa hasn’t had the best luck with men. Jazz pianist Eddie showed up just as mysteriously as he left, and what’s strange about the whole thing is that Eddie was only really on the show for a quick romp with Teresa before he disappeared. With the possibility that the DEA is circling around Teresa, we wonder if there’s something more sinister in Eddie’s relationship with the Queen of the South.

Where did Camila go in Queen of the South season 4?

Camila was mostly absent in Queen of the South season 4, except for a few stray mentions. It’s odd that Teresa’s slaveowner, employer, partner, friend, and rival Camila would all but disappear from the plot. We expect that in Queen of the South season 5 we’ll see more of Camila. Who knows – maybe that’s who James was running from when he got shot.

Can Boaz be trusted in Queen of the South season 5?

Boaz was a total loose cannon for most of Queen of the South. We always got the feeling that Boaz has been biding his time, but now that he’s running the operation in Miami, will Teresa be able to count on him? We expect a major storyline is coming, but we’ll have to wait to find out just how big.

Who’s that right-hand woman in the “Teresa in white” premonitions?

Teresa descends from a private plane in white surrounded by sunglasses-clad beefheads. But who’s that woman to her right? So far in Queen of the South we haven’t had a clue as to who this assistant might be. Given her negative experiences with females, as far as we know it’s out of character for Teresa to trust a woman so closely.

Who is this woman and why is she there? Hopefully Queen of the South season 5 will begin to answer these questions.

Is the Teresa we’ve come to know & love gone in Queen of the South season 5?

Teresa has come a long way from her early days as a moneychanger. Teresa has gained power, respect, and influence as she’s progressed in her character arc. With the recent death of her young godson Tony, will we see a new side of Teresa? This season has been set up so that we see Teresa transform into the Queen of the South; just how much will Teresa change?

Is Queen of the South season 5 set in New York City?

Its producers have been hush-hush as to where Queen of the South season 5 will happen. There’s the possibility that Teresa stays in New Orleans, or that she must return to Mexico to make a deal with Camila – or she could even go back to Dallas.

With Teresa in a partnership with Oksana, there’s also a tie to the mob in NYC. Even though Oksana works out of Atlanta, having a connection in NYC could open a great window of opportunity for Teresa to truly become Queen of the South.

We can’t answer any of these questions until Queen of the South season 5 drops. Unfortunately, there’s still no word on when the new season will be out, but check out everything we know about Queen of the South season 5.
