Serial is a popular podcast that’s been around since 2014. There are only three seasons so far, but the show is still active and listeners can expect to keep hearing more. This is truly one of the best true crime podcasts to tune into.

As it stands today, Serial is owned by The New York Times. It can be streamed on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Pandora. The official website for this particular show also features clickable episodes making it easier for listeners to get listening. As of now, this podcast is the top Google search result for true crime podcasts which speaks volumes.

My Favorite Murder

There’s a reason My Favorite Murder is considered one of the best true crime podcasts. This show includes the perfect mix of humor & darkness since two hilarious comedians are in charge of getting the messages across. Karen Kilgariff & Georgia Hardstark know how to get an audience laughing, but they also know how to explain the gory details of a serial killer’s activities.

The first episode of My Favorite Murder premiered in January of 2016 and by April of 2018, the show was peaking in the #3 spot of iTunes Podcast charts. This show was nominated for the Shorty Award for Best Podcast and although it didn’t win, it probably should have. Here’s where you can check it out for yourself: Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, and Player FM.
