Demi Lovato takes on alien news: All the deets on her new Peacock show
Most of the world has seemingly gotten behind the struggling Demi Lovato, specifically through her constant emotional breakdowns and drug relapses. She’s too good a talent as well as too good a person to be suffering from both of these mental issues, and we’re backing Demi Lovato every step of the way on her long road to recovery. That being said . . . backing up the actress & singer in her own unscripted series about aliens? Ehh.
It was recently announced that Peacock would be producing a new show which delves into the mysterious world of UFOs and aliens, with Demi Lovato set to host the four-part unscripted series alongside her sister and alien obsessive best friend as they dig up government files, test specific UFO hotspots, an interview those who claim to have eyewitness accounts of alien encounters.
Again, we’re so proud that Demi Lovato is clean & sober, hopefully off drugs once and for all! However, did a possible high give her this idea? Even moreso, is Peacock doing this to simply get skin in the alien game, or is this show considered a contract binder in order to please Lovato and work with her for the many years to come? Let’s delve into the news about this alien show.
Unidentified with Demi Lovato
Unidentified with Demi Lovato, produced by Peacock, will star the Camp Rock actress, her sister Dallas Lovato, and her best friend Matthew Scott Montgomery, with Lovato also set to be an executive producer on the alien project. The show, of course, comes off the heels of the singer’s YouTube four-part series Dancing with the Devil, in which Demi delves into the dark & difficult details of her substance abuse within Hollywood.
Peacock made the following statement: “Demi is a true believer, and during this courageous adventure, she hopes to convince her friends, family and her millions of followers that not only are there intelligent beings beyond Earth but that they are already here!”
The streamer continued: “Demi plans to learn enough about the extraterrestrials through interviewing scientists, alien abductees, and her own experiments to initiate those close encounters and make peace with the aliens, and ultimately save ourselves. This series will be an immersive docu-follow exploration of Demi’s quest, told through her uniquely audacious and entertaining filter.”
Demi seems stoked
Hey, anything to get her mind off of her difficult recovery we’re all for! Demi Lovato, who teased the program with a series of tweets involving UFO and Peacock emojis finally dropped the news on her Twitter account earlier today. Who’s excited for a news show about aliens? We know we are.
The tweet read the following: “SURPRISEEEE!!! I’m hitting the road for an out-of-this-world adventure for my new show Unidentified and I’m taking you guys along for the ride. I can’t wait to share more.”
To be fair, if Rob Lowe and his children can investigate the paranormal then why can’t Demi and her friends dig up some of today’s more interesting alien news? We’re all in. The world is, after all, becoming more & more invested in outer space and the mysteries which lie beyond. Heck, even Elon Musk has us engaged in alien news, regardless of whether or not he pumps out bangers such as “Confident” or “Warrior”.
