Will Chrishell Stause keep photos of her husband on Instagram?
Your husband unceremoniously divorced you over text. Forty-five minutes later, media outlets around the world broke the news as you’re crying on the couch trying to process what happened. This was Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause’s reality last November when her ex-husband Justin Hartley announced their divorce.
In that situation, it would be completely understandable for Chrishell Stause to burn everything she has reminding her of their time together, including scrubbing her Instagram. Looking at her Instagram, that doesn’t appear to be the case entirely.
Chrishell Stause can be pictured posing, smiling, and moving on with her life the best she can. However, Justin Hartley hasn’t been completely scrubbed from her Instagram page.

Although Chrishell Stause may be scrubbing her Instagram of all traces of Justin, she still keeps a couple of magazine photos referring to her as Chrishell Hartley. These were from Soap Opera Magazine, which announced her return to Days of Our Lives. The second is announcing her nomination for a Critics’ Choice Award for Selling Sunset.
Chrishell Stause also has a photo of her with Justin Hartley from 2019 on her Instagram page. She & Hartley are posing for the red carpet for the Critics’ Choice Award. The photo is a thank-you to Stause’s hair & makeup team.
“Each one of you know how to make women feel beautiful from the inside out-I am so grateful to you guys because it allowed me to just have FUN,” she posted.
Actually, it’s the other way around
On the other hand, Justin Hartley apparently removed all traces of Chrishell Stause from his Instagram account. He & his new girlfriend Sofia Pernas are Instagram Official and scrolling through his feed, there’s no sign he was ever with Chrishell Stause at all.
Screen Rant reported that fans noticed pictures of Chrishell Stause went missing from Hartley’s Instagram in the spring & summer. Their vacation to Hawaii vanished from his page. He even went back to 2015 to erase photos from when he & Stause first started dating!
Except, he missed a spot. Justin Hartley & Chrishell Stause can be seen together in a post from December 2018, when he & Stause appeared at a GQ after-party for the Critics’ Choice Awards. Granted, Stause appears in the second picture behind Hartley in a tux.
Chrishell Stause & Sofia Pernas on good terms
Chrishell Stause knew Justin Hartley’s new girlfriend Sofia Pernas from way back. They’re both on the soap scene and their Instagram posts reveal a friendly, supportive relationship.
Just weeks after Justin Hartley filed for divorce, Chrishell Stause liked one of Sofia Pernas’ Instagram posts of her sword training in Thailand. Stause also wished Pernas a happy birthday in 2016 when Pernas was on a yacht in San Diego.
Chrishell Stause “shaded” Hartley’s ex
Per Buzzfeed, when Justin Hartley’s ex-wife Lindsay Korman defended Hartley on Instagram, Stause threw some subtle shade. Hartley got a lot of heat for announcing his divorce from Stause via text. Some fans called him a “coward” and “not a real man” on social media for the way he broke the marriage off.
“Today, I appreciate my ex-husband Justin for not only being [the] exemplification of a solid man, but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter,” she wrote as part of a long post calling for positivity and respect.

In a subtle jab back, Chrishell Stause posted a quote, “be the woman who fixes another woman’s crown without telling the world it’s crooked.” She applied the text above the quote, saying “women who build each other up are my tribe.” In case anyone was mistaken about the post’s meaning, Stause liked this fan tweet.
