All the K-pop stars BTS’s Jungkook has been romantically linked to
BTS is the world’s most popular boy band. It’s easy to see why, the seven young men are consummate entertainment professionals with heavenly singing voices, sizzling dance moves – and they’re CUTE! Their devoted ARMY fan base is sworn to hold the group’s ideals, & privacy, close to their hearts. However, rumors about their mysterious love lives still fill the Internet.
Jungkook, the BTS maknae (youngest member), is a particular favorite of the relationship (shipping) rumor mill. Lately, everyone has been wondering if something could be happening between fan favorites BTS Jungkook & Lalisa Manoban, a.k.a. “Lisa” of the K-Pop group Blackpink. Are they having a secret romance? They have been spotted together a few times, making most fans wonder if there could be a relationship between the two young singers.
Whether or not there is anything to these rumors, Lisa is not the only girl linked to Jungkook’s romantic life. Let’s take a look at the other young ladies in the BTS bunny maknae’s amorous past.
Sartorial shipping
It’s a known fact that fans love shipping BTS’s Jungkook with a number of female idols.
Another rumored romance for Jungkook was with Lovelyz’s very own maknae, Jeong Ye In. One fan posted in an online community that Jungkook & Ye In might be dating. The evidence being the two idols are look-alikes. The fan then pointed out an instance where Ye In dressed in clothes similar to an illustration of Jungkook’s ideal girl’s fashion.
Next, the BTS fan post provided several instances in which Jungkook & Yein wore similar clothes, such as similar, puffy red winter coats with blue and white stripes. Finally, the fan claimed that the two have been caught several times, looking in each other’s direction.
K-Pop peck
Yet, another dating rumor was circulated about BTS’s adorable Jungkook & Cube Entertainment artist Ko Seo-hyun. Korean fans resurrected past speculations of a possible relationship between them through Instagram. When Seohyun’s photo as a possible member of CUBE’s then-new girl group CLC surfaced, fans posted it to social media, with some of them insisting that she was Jungkook’s girlfriend.
Rumors have surrounded Jungkook & Seohyun since 2014, and fans continued to produce material to try and convince others of the relationship.
Shipping sideswipe
And yet, another shipping rumor put BTS’s Jungkook with K-Pop group DIA’s Jung Chae-yeon. Even though both sides denied the dating rumor between the two, many fans are still suspicious. The rumor began to surface because Chaeyeon matched Jungkook’s description of his ideal woman, one with a great singing voice and long dark hair.
Missing Mochi
One of Jungkook’s rumored girlfriends was Min Ji Soo, reportedly known to Jungkook as “Mochi” because of her pale skin. Jungkook & Jisoo’s relationship was revealed after a fan found what is said to be an image of them together on the Internet.
It was a selfie posted on Jisoo’s Twitter but, supposedly, a part of Jungkook’s face was visible in the corner. According to rumor, they were dating happily, but it is said that he decided to break up with her to put all his effort into work when his debut was decided.
Real deal done
Jungkook did have a school sweetheart by the name of Park Se Won before he made his debut with BTS. Rumors were rampant about Jungkook & Park Sewon’s relationship, which was discovered by her friends from school. The families of the pair are close friends and the two grew up together. Jungkook & Sewon started dating seriously in 2016 and are said to have been engaged.
However, after so many people violated her privacy, Sewon spoke up on Twitter about it. “Aren’t people busy minding their own lives? Why do they care so much about other people without knowing the facts? I don’t understand why I have [sic] sit and listen to those kind of things. I’m tired of holding it back, I’m so sick of it.”
When a fan asked if the rumor was really true, Sewon tweeted, “Yeah it’s true. I’m so relieved and happy. I’ll all-in. I’ll be happy. I’m so excited. I’ll make sure to show you the two-shot.”
Singly satisfied
In reality Jungkook, just like the rest of BTS, actually appears to be one hundred percent focused on his career at this point. While they conquer the world with their music, it’s very likely that none of the group is into dating anyone just yet. Considering that Jungkook is just twenty-three-years-old, there is no reason for him to rush into it and fans seem to like it this way.
Jungkook and the BTS are also always being asked about their dating life, especially when attending major music events. When they walked the red carpet at the 2017 American Music Awards, Entertainment Tonight asked if they’d brought girlfriends to which RM replied, “No, we got ARMYs. We’ve got, like, thousands of girlfriends in here, so we don’t need to worry.”
