Embrace your dark humor with these very funny jokes
There’s something about dark humor that is tempting beyond words. You want to laugh, but you also want to hold it in, it’s often inappropriate, and the jokes often don’t land well. Playing with dark humor can be risky, but that’s also what makes it exciting. Here we bring to you some of our favorite dark humor jokes from all over the internet. Laugh — or chuckle — at your own risk.
Healthcare & dark humor have a commonality
It’s that not everyone gets it. Listen, the condition of healthcare access in the US is deplorable, to say the least. About 1 in 10 people in the United States do not have health insurance & the cost of medical facilities & care is so high that affordability is out of the question. People go into debt due to medical expenses not covered under insurance. Enough said.
Leg-pulling for a good laugh
We all have that one pal who knows how to mess with us even from afar. This one’s dedicated to them.
Husky is as husky looks
There are a plethora of horror stories that come from dogs going to the groomers & coming out a different dog. But this, no one could fathom. Huskies are intelligent, independent, and affectionate dogs. Maybe we should have let the husky take care of himself.
The husky’s physical features are what make them so magnificent: their compact body, erect ears, their thick fur, their size . . . all of which has been tampered with on this visit to the grooming session.

The shocks of travel
When we travel, we come across the quirks of a place, the unique things about a culture, and their pooping habits. But the design of the Dutch toilets has raised far too many questions.
Trust you with my life savings but you ain’t leaving me alone with a pen from memes
We all grow into adults who have a very toxic relationship with the banking system. We trust the bank with all our money, but all they do is . . . be suspicious of our motives. There’s a lot to be said about what the banks do (or don’t) & the many annoying quirks of red tape in the system, but nothing like a good old form-filling to give us a reality check.
A little boy just screamed down the tube carriage “if you’re happy and you know it clap your hands” and everyone remained silent. I love London

If you’re happy and you know it . . .
The rhyme tells you to clap your hands. That’s also what all the kids believe. But when adults are asked to clap their hands, they don’t. It doesn’t take a genius to figure this out. It’s simultaneously dark & sad, just like life.

What makes you tick?
Nothing spreads faster than a wildfire. Well, maybe nothing except news rooted in misinformation. But well-researched science has its non-believers.
In elementary school when we would have read out loud to the class from the textbook I would literally count the kids in front of me and figure out what section I was reading so I could practice it before it got to my turn & I think that’s where my anxiety started.

The origins of anxiety
Do you ever wonder where your anxiety began? Or when exactly you started showing signs? When did it start taking over your life? When did it start feeling like second nature?
Do you ever catch someone looking at your paper during an exam and almost feel bad that they think you’re the right person to cheat off of

Cheating is an art
One important skill in this art form is knowing who to copy your test answers from. As you sit in the exam hall, scrambling for answers, you realize your peers are worse at this than you are.

Did you know a dog’s life cycle?
Getting a dog is one of the happiest days of anyone’s life. But here we have, truth in its bare form. It’s the kind of joke that made even the one cracking it had to apologize for it.
