Whether it be loopholes or clever deals there are legitimate ways to get free Netflix. This is a list of the best ways to get the streaming service.

Why pay if you don’t have to? All the ways to get free Netflix

Whether you’re looking for a new movie to watch on family movie night or trying to alleviate the boredom of living in a pandemic, Netflix is a great way to waste the hours spent at home with social distancing. However, Netflix is not affordable for everyone, especially during economic slowdowns.

Thankfully there are ways to watch your favorite Netflix Originals without sacrificing your wallet. Here are three ways to get free Netflix.

One-month free trial

The first strategy is the easiest: simply get a free trial on Netflix. If you’ve never signed up for Netflix, you can use your primary email to sign up then add your payment method, and you get an entire month of Netflix!

Pro tip: you can strategize and start your trial as soon as your most anticipated show is released. That way, you can watch the entire season without worrying about having to cancel in the middle of your binge watching. But of course you can get a free trial at any time.

Be sure to cancel on day 29 so you don’t have to pay. Create a reminder on your calendar just to be safe. Sometimes Netflix tries to lure users back with more 30-day trials, so be on the lookout for those emails in your inbox.

Ask friends & family

With the pandemic, Netflix has revealed they’ve had a major boost in subscriptions. So there’s a good chance you know someone who has a Netflix account.

Ask a friend or family member if you can use their account and if they say yes, you’re done! You can now watch unlimited Netflix without worrying about paying the bill. Just be sure to stay on the account owner’s good side so you don’t get kicked off.

Use all of the emails

Do you happen to have a lot of email addresses? Then you’re in luck. Keep signing up for free trials using each of your emails. Just cancel on day 29 and sign up again with a new email address.

This method can be tiresome and requires a lot of planning, but it could be worth the amount you’re saving by not paying for a subscription. You can restrict your signups to when you’re free or not working on a massive project. After you’re done, celebrate by getting a new free trial and catching up on your favorite shows

Switch to a company that gives out free Netflix

Sometimes companies make deals with Netflix to give their users free subscriptions. If you’re looking to switch your mobile plan, maybe consider T-Mobile, who offers free Netflix for a year if you join using one of their unlimited plans.

Other companies offer deals for free Netflix, but T-Mobile has had a longer promotion. If you’re already on T-Mobile, they’ll cover a standard account. Just contact your local store and get started on your free trial.
