Be a part of our short film to save ‘Shadowhunters’

We decided to make a short film about the 'Shadowhunters' fandom we can use to show decision-makers how vital this TV show really is.

Whether you’ve been living under a rock or you just don’t check out your feed very often, you might not know our fandom favorite Shadowhunters has been cancelled. We’ve been working alongside the fandom for over a year to provide a platform for the #SaveShadowhunters campaign.

We’ve already ascertained that Shadowhunters is being held hostage by a certain production company, and that we need to get strategic in the fight to save our show. We’re all doing our very best to raise awareness of the #SaveShadowhunters campaign and we’ve got lots of ideas about how we can work together to continue the fight.

We already know Shadowhunters is a love that knows no bounds and the fandom is expressing their feelings in a myriad of beautiful languages online. After another day of scrolling Twitter we had an idea: let’s make a short film about the Shadowhunters fandom we can use to show decision-makers how vital this TV show really is.

Here’s how you can help us:

  • If you’re comfortable showing yourself on camera, send us a smartphone video of yourself telling us in your native language exactly why you love Shadowhunters.
  • If you’re not comfortable being on camera, just send us your quote about why you love Shadowhunters and we’ll make graphics to go with your quote.

All you have to do is fill out the form below. The deadline is August 15th, 2019.

If you’d like regular Save Shadowhunters activist missions, join our Facebook group.

Simone Barbon's ghostwriting resume is long and illustrious, though you'll never see it. She is also a screenwriting teacher and freelance script reader. Her grandson is her favorite thing to watch, though.
