The ‘Spider-Man 3’ cast is trolling the internet: The best memes
The Marvel Cinematic Universe didn’t premiere a single movie in 2020 – this marked the first year since 2009 without a new addition to the franchise. For some the break was necessary to stave off superhero fatigue just a little bit longer, but for others it felt like a draught.
2021 is a new year though, and Disney seems determined to release heroic content aside from their Disney+ shows. This means promotion is beginning and their tactics so far have had the desired effect – fans are losing their minds online.
Cast members of Spider-Man 3 have been teasing what the title of the upcoming movie will be and fans are losing it speculating what the real title will be. While writing this article the official title was announced, however – but you’ll have to scroll to the bottom to find out what it is. 😉

The titles
Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, and Zendaya all posted different very official looking title cards with potential names that seemed unlikely, but interesting nonetheless.
We’re particularly interested to know what Spider-Man Home-Wrecker would have been like as a movie.

Loads of fun
While Kevin Feige, and the main cast members of Spider-Man 3 are having a fun giggle fest at everyone’s expense fans are perhaps getting a bit testy being the butt of the joke.
We just want to know what the movie is called!

Please tell us
It’s all fun and games, but we’re very confused and would very much like answers, Marvel. Please, tell us what the f*ck is going on!

You’ve been played
When cast member Tom Holland led the fake title game we all took him at his word. He’s the lead actor after all, it makes perfect sense that he’d be the one to post the official title to social media.
Then we got Jacob Batalon’s post and eventually Zendaya’s post – it became very clear we were being teased.

More joke titles
Fans weren’t going to be left out of the fake name game. While “work from home” would be a pretty boring movie number 3, we have to admit we’d probably still watch it.
i think its a hint at the multiverse. different titles could be a hint at the fact theres more than 1 spiderman in the film

Getting clever
Knowing that the multiverse is coming to the MCU led one fan to believe that the various titles were hinting at something. We applaud the creativity.
Even if this Twitter user is wrong we are fully expecting the phrases “phone home”, “home-wrecker”, and “home slice” to appear somewhere in Spider-Man 3 now.

Clowning
The Spider-Man 3 cast has us wrapped around their fingers and they know it. Now we’re out here running around like chickens with our heads cut off for their entertainment. The worst part? We’re enjoying it.
Spider-man
"HOME DEPOT"

Home Depot
Turns outs Peter Parker had to quit being heroic after his identity was leaked. Now, he works at Home Depot and prevents people from stealing. He flinches every time someone asks for a spider wrench, though.

They’re not wrong
One fan decided to hedge their bets – it’s pretty fair to assume “man” will, in fact, be in the title. Also, wow that’s just such a mood.
The official title is announced!
Okay, after a day of theorizing and being teased we officially have the title of Spider-Man 3.
Tom Holland posted a sketch video to his Instagram where fans were finally given the real title by the cast. The third movie is called Spider-Man – No Way Home.
