Did Justin Hartley get married again? Get the tea on his alleged wife
Awards season always produces some fresh celeb gossip, from the red carpet to the stage, and this past Sunday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards fell right in line with the biggest ceremonies of the year. As fans’ favorite stars from TV & movies came to present & accept awards, or simply show up swagged out, new tea was spilled from the ever-dominant Hollywood scene.
Most of the new gossip we snag from awards shows doesn’t have anything to do with what our favorite celebs show up wearing, but rather who they show up with. While some choose to hit up the year’s biggest events solo, this year at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Justin Hartley showed up with a new boo, and a little bird told us, the two have tied the knot.
New wife
People reported yesterday that Justin Hartley has a brand new wife. The forty-year-old This Is Us star showed up arm in arm to the awards show on Sunday, making his and his wife’s debut as a couple to the public. So who has Justin Hartley taken as his new wife?
Justin Hartley debuted his new wife Sofia Pernas on the red carpet on Sunday, with the two showing up hand-in-hand, both brandishing their wedding rings.
The thirty-one-year-old star of The Young and the Restless allegedly made her & Hartley’s union official at an undisclosed, although allegedly recent date. Justin Hartley and his new wife may have tied the knot recently, but rumors have been buzzing about the couple for some time now.
Red ring
In early May, both Justin Hartley and his new wife Sofia Pernas had been spotted in Malibu, California on a beach both wearing rings as they enjoyed drinks.
In the photos snatched up by Page Six, we can see Hartley wearing a red ring while Pernas wears a more traditional silver band. At the time, fans wondered if the couple’s mismatched jewelry was the real deal or a kitschy fashion statement.
However, People’s sources say the couple had already been dating for several weeks last June, and the couple announced their relationship officially on Instagram on New Year’s Eve 2020.

Pernas shared a photo of the couple together, adding the caption, “Sayonara 2020, it’s been real. Happy New Year from our quarantine den to yours ❤️”.
Meanwhile, on the same day, Justin Hartley posted a black & white photo of the two dressed as if ready for a New Year’s Eve bash (albeit in a kitchen) with the caption, “Last minutes of 2020 here in LA. Bring on 2021! Happy New Year!”.
Although there appears to be plenty of evidence of Justin Hartley and his new wife Sofia Pernas dating over the past year or so, there’s been no wedding rumors before the two newlyweds debuted on Sunday clad with their new rings.
The red carpet shots of the happy couple showed Hartley in a casual fit of slacks, a jacket & V-neck, while Pernas looked stunning in a coral strapless gown. The newlyweds hit the ceremony with style, and fans were thrilled to see the power couple in action. However, Sunday’s red carpet isn’t Justin Hartley’s first wife reveal.
Ancient history
Justin Hartley was first married to Lindsay Korman from 2004 to 2012. The two worked together on NBC’s Passions and have since parented a daughter together since 2004. The two split in 2012 after eight years of marriage.
After Korman, Hartley tied the knot with Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause in 2017, but the two broke it off after just two years. Their divorce was finalized this past February.
