This month, a lot of bumpy planetary movements are going on. Along with a Martian retrograde for the entire month, we have two full moons in October, a tough new moon opposing Mars and squaring some badly-placed planets in Capricorn, and the infamous Mercury retrograde is back!

Cancer ♋🦀

For Cancer suns, the month gets better at the end when the sun moves into Scorpio, giving June cancers a welcome creativity boost. The sun will be squaring your sun earlier in the month, though, giving you some ego bruises along with retrograde Mars, also squaring your sun. This is not the month to lose your cool, so practice a lot of self care this month. 

For Cancer risings, AstroTwins says that the Libra sun in your fourth house of “domesticity, family and emotional” gives you a great time to center this month around family before getting creative when Halloween approaches – when the full moon puts you in a social, festive mood. 

Also for Cancer risings, you could expect to see career TLC with the full moon in Aries on your Midheaven (highest point in your chart divulging your career and public image) at the beginning of this month. 

Take extra caution in the middle of this month, Cancer suns, especially those born around July 10. The new moon in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn, and Mars retrograde in Aries are forming a “grand cross” in your chart, bringing unexpected challenges and tribulations. Again, take a bubble bath and think twice before reacting! 

Scorpio ♏🦂

Until your season starts, take a chill pill, especially for Scorpio risings. Scorpio suns should also try and relax this month, as Mercury retrograde begins in your sign. Also, when Mercury goes back into your House of secrets on the 27th Scorpio risings, zip your lip! Don’t share secrets. Also, since Mercury retrograde will start in your first house of appearance, expect some bad hair days, and do NOT give yourself bangs! 

The Halloween full moon is set to be a “changemaker”, especially for Scorpios born around Halloween. October Scorpios have been hammered with Uranus in Taurus for the last couple of years, so they may have experienced some unexpected challenges to their sense of self. Expect the unexpected. 

If you’re a Scorpio rising, expect a big change in relationships and partnerships coming your way as a spooky treat! A full moon in your seventh house signals partnerships and when it’s right on Uranus, some unexpected treats (or tricks) could be in store for you. 

Pisces ♓🐠 

Pisces risings, this is the time of year when death, sex, transformation, and other people’s money (loans & taxes) comes to the fore. Waves will happen, and you can ride them like the majestic mermaid you are! Don’t worry – you will catch a break as the sun moves into your ninth house near the end of the month, kicking off travel and higher learning plans. However, this can also lead to some cabin fever if you’re stuck in the house! 

Mercury retrograde will link up to your sun, but like the rest of this year, where other signs had problems, these difficult placements brought you opportunities. For those of you born in the middle of March, Pluto direct will give you opportunities to restructure your life for the better!
