Why is Tristan Thompson fighting with Khloé Kardashian’s ex?
Battle of the exes? It certainly seems so, as Khloe Kardashian has seemingly taken a break from posting cryptic Instagram quotes in exchange for a summer bikini update, posting a photo of herself underneath a beach shower which has sparked an internet feud between current up-in-the-air boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, and former husband, Lamar Odom. But just how did this social media battle get started?
Underneath an IG photo of Khloe Kardashian rocking her hot summer body and a sharp bikini, Lamar Odom, who formerly played for the Los Angeles Lakers, commented with “Hottie”, followed by a couple of drooling emojis. Thompson, who had his own comment to compliment Kardashian, then responded to Lamar Odom, saying “God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results.”
Of course, this is in reference to Lamar Odom’s near brush with death a few years back, when he suffered multiple strokes at a Las Vegas cathouse. That being said, perhaps Tristan Thompson is simply letting out some aggression due to his ailing relationship with Khloe Kardashian, as much of the world still doesn’t know what their official status is after a slew of cheating allegations. Just what is going on with these two? Let’s see.
Khloe takes to IG
Khloe Kardashian recently posted on her Instagram stories the following message in relation to the latest allegation of Tristan Thompson cheating, which read the following: “Maybe one day, we’ll meet again and explain to each other what happened. Maybe one day we’ll finally understand. Until then, I hope you like your best life, and I hope you really do all the things you always wanted to do.”
Another post read: “Be the person who cares. Be the person who makes the effort, the person who loves without hesitation. Be the person who bares it all, the person who never shies away from the depth of their feeling or the intensity of their hope. Be the person who believes in the softness of the world, in the goodness of other people, in the beauty of being open and untethered and trusting.”
The post concluded: “Trust me when I say, be the person who cares. Because the world doesn’t need more carelessness, any more disregard; because there is nothing stronger than someone who continues to stay soft in a world that hasn’t always been kind to them.” This sounds quite heavy, wouldn’t you agree?
Is the relationship over?
The final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which recently released its part 2 of the Kardashian family reunion, focused on Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson’s relationship perhaps more than any other previous season of the series, showing how good of a dad Tristan Thompson was to their baby True once Khloe came down with COVID-19.
However, cameras clearly captured the honeymoon phase before their downfall. Even though Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson were recently spotted by the paparazzi during a family outing, perhaps Khloe Kardashian is more focused on keeping Tristan Thompson’s father role intact, willing to sacrifice her happiness and love in order to ensure that True will have a strong male figure in her life for years to come.
It hasn’t been announced yet whether or not Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson have called it quits, however, given Khloe Kardashian’s recent Instagram posts and cryptic messages, perhaps these two will no longer waste time in trying to make a relationship work, and instead keep all the focus on their daughter True and being the best co-parents they can be from here on out.
