Is U.S. President Joe Biden of sound mind & health to continue his work in the White House? Joe Biden has been caught-red handed forgetting why he was talking to Texas this week. But was this a publicity stunt? Or is the President slowly losing his mind? According to the Texas video, he was definitely overwhelmed.

After a dangerous snowstorm hit Texas, President Joe Biden and his administration were sent to Houston to discuss how they plan on helping the state. However, when Biden arrived at the podium to give his speech, he seemed slightly distracted. 

Express (UK) reported that Biden made multiple mistakes while addressing the state. His first big error was one that we might’ve said during our days in lockdown, but for President Joe Biden to greet the state with “Good afternoon. . . actually it is evening” seems a bit unusual. 

After his first error regarding time, the U.S. President continued his speech: “I want to thank you Governor for your hospitality & friendship. And Senator Cornyn, I think he’s getting on a plane he told me a little last, he came to see me last event.”

Joe Biden’s speech continued: “And representatives Cheryl, Charlie Jackson Lee, Al Green, Sylvia Garcia, Lizzie Pinelli. . . Excuse me Pinel and what am I doing here?” Whoops.

It seems Joe Biden may have forgotten why he was addressing Texas, as he suddenly added: “I’m gonna lose track here.” Biden’s speech collapsed when he forgot what he was saying, and to the public this may not come as a sudden surprise. 

Memory loss

In an interview with Express, political commentator Iain Dale expressed: “It is quite clear to anybody who looks at Joe Biden and compares him to Joe Biden of ten or twenty years ago that there is a decline there.”

Iain Dale added that he felt the U.S. President’s forgetfulness might cause problems for the White House, especially if the government has to replace him. Dale explained: “But what if his mental powers declined so much that she had to take over? There are arrangements in the U.S. constitution for this to happen, but after the trauma of the Trump years, America would go through another national trauma.”

Thankfully there’s no “national trauma” yet, as Iain Dale surely mentioned, but he further explained that if Joe Biden were to die, “Kamala Harris would take over”. 

Joe Biden’s health

According to NBC News, Joe Biden actually released his medical statement to the public to address their concerns. Dr. Kevin O’Connor of The George Washington University published the medical documents and told the country that the President was “healthy” & “vigorous”. 

However, Joe Biden’s health has always been in question after the public learnt about his not one, but two brain aneurysms back in the 1980s. Though he hasn’t suffered a severe illness since, many are still concerned as the seventy-eight year-old President takes “blood thinners and medication for acid reflux, cholesterol and seasonal allergies”.

As NBC News noted, Dr. Kevin O’Connor has taken care of Joe Biden’s health since 2009 and has stated that the reason for his “vigorous” health is due to Biden’s decision not to smoke, drink and commitment to working out approximately five days each & every week. 

Though Joe Biden’s physical health is in an exceptional place for a man of his age, the public has had concerns about his mental health. Luckily, the recent medical document shows that Biden’s “cranial nerves and vestibular function are normal” so the country doesn’t need to worry about the President’s forgetfulness anytime soon.
