The leaks were true: What Hunter Biden admits to in the laptop saga

Hunter Biden is used to the spotlight, however, it’s usually for all the wrong reasons. For over two years, Hunter and his father Joe Biden have denied all allegations in reference to the “laptop from hell”.

Will this infamous laptop finally be claimed by its owner? Or will the Bidens continue to deny all claims?

The Bidens

Hunter Biden has been open about his substance abuse & public misbehaviors, however, it looks like Biden’s dark side goes further than partying.

Hunter Biden is the son of U.S. President Joe Biden. He previously served as a senior advisor for his father’s presidential campaign, and was appointed to the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma in 2014. From 2013 to 2015 he also worked as an investment consultant and investment advisor. In 2019, Hunter Biden founded Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, a private equity and venture capital firm.

Biden was director of the Ukrainian company Burisma from 2014 to 2019, where he earned more than $50,000 per month. Just to get things clear on time, his father Joe Biden was vice president of the U.S. from 2009 to 2017.

Donald Trump Jr., one of the former president’s sons, suggested the link between Hunter Biden’s business dealings and the crisis in Ukraine. These affirmations became a recurring attack on Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential campaign. According to International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), Biden directing Burisma while Joe Biden was vice president presented a serious conflict of interest.

In fact, in 2019 Biden described a lack of judgment on his part, agreeing to work for Burisma. Besides being the Vice President of the U.S., his father Joe Biden was also a mediator in Ukraine during the conflict over the Crimean peninsula. Furthermore, in 2020, Donald Trump asked his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky to investigate Biden’s actions in Ukraine.

Investigations

In case you’re just stumbling onto Hunter Biden and his laptop for the first time, here’s a refresher. Back in 2019, a laptop with a Beau Biden Foundation sticker was dropped off at a computer repair shop in 2019 but was never picked up. When no one claimed the laptop, it was broken into, and some damning emails were found on it. It’s still unclear who dropped the laptop off.

The laptop allegedly had more scandalous footage on it, including of Hunter Biden smoking crack and engaging in sex acts with an unnamed woman. The documents from the laptop, including Hunter Biden’s emails, reportedly found their way from the laptop to Rudy Giuliani’s attorney Robert Costello. The New York Post further divulged Steve Bannon told them about the hard drive before they received it from Giuliani.

The New York Post reported that per said emails, Hunter Biden allegedly introduced his father, Joe to Burisma board adviser Vadym Pozharskyi, who seemed to thank Hunter in the following email: “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s really [sic] an honor and pleasure.”

In a statement, Hunter Biden explained: “I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately.”

What’s next?

Hunter Biden has now admitted to the laptop being his but has now claimed he’s a victim. According to Hunter and his lawyers, he has been the victim of theft and his privacy was invaded.

Only time will tell what happens next to the son of one of the most powerful men on the planet.
