The news of Halsey’s pregnancy earlier this year was exciting enough, but now that she’s actually given birth, there’s so much more to celebrate. Halsey is an incredibly talented singer & songwriter who’s melted the hearts of her audiences with hit songs like “Without Me”, “You Should Be Sad”, and “Bad at Love”. She’s always bared all with her lyrics, and it seems she’s doing the same thing in motherhood.
Halsey’s ability to wear her heart on her sleeve so poetically in the music industry has certainly spread out into the way she’s addressed becoming a mom so far. According to Billboard, she stated, “I thought pregnancy would give me very strong, binary feelings about ‘womanhood’ but truly it has leveled my perception of gender entirely. My sensitivity to my body has made me hyper aware of my humanness and that’s all. Doing a remarkable thing. And it’s grand. I hope the feeling lasts.”
Along with the very first Instagram post of herself, her boyfriend Alev Aydin, and their new baby, she added the caption, “ Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.” The birth took place on July 14th and it’s obvious she’s already settling into motherhood seamlessly.

According to Halsey’s Instagram, her pregnancy was quite enjoyable. She posed with her growing belly for adorably sweet pictures many times after making the official announcement that she was expecting. Her most recent picture showcases her baby which we know is named Ender. The precious Turkish name means “rare”. She’s chosen to keep the gender of her child underwraps for now which is completely her prerogative. The baby appears to be happy & healthy in the arms of their mother which is the most important thing of all.

No one knows for sure when Halsey and her boyfriend Alev Aydin started dating but she appears to be very happy with the 38-year-old producer. He gained notoriety by writing content for Netflix in the form of movies & TV shows. Regardless of how long this couple has been together, they’ve made it clear that the pregnancy was entirely planned.
Halsey explained that it was”100% planned” and even revealed that they tried very hard for the baby. Their dedication obviously paid off because they are now one happy family.
Halsey’s relationships before motherhood
Before Halsey’s whirlwind romance with Alev Aydin took flight, and before she embarked on the journey of motherhood, she had a few other romantic relationships along the way. Rumors about Halsey & Jared Leto made their rounds in 2016, but nothing concrete ever amounted from it. They were spotted at Coachella together getting really flirty but they never publicly commented.
Machine Gun Kelly & Halsey briefly dated in 2017 and whatever went wrong between them must not have been so bad because they were able to collaborate on a song together in 2020 called “Forget Me Too”. Arguably her most notable relationship in the public eye was with rapper G-Eazy. The two have dropped a handful of diss tracks about each other.
