Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein continue to surface in public discussion years after the initial reporting on their connection. A 2021 interview with royal author Lady Colin Campbell revived comparisons between Epstein’s ties to Clinton and those to Prince Andrew, sparking renewed scrutiny of the former president’s relationship with the late financier. The conversation centered on whether attention on Prince Andrew served to deflect focus from Clinton’s longer and more documented association.

Author and star

Lady Colin Campbell appeared on GB News in June 2021 to discuss Epstein’s circle. She has written several books on the British royal family and competed on the reality series I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. During the interview she argued that Prince Andrew’s connection to Epstein was less significant than Clinton’s and suggested the former president’s name received less scrutiny. Campbell has continued to comment publicly on the topic into 2026.

Andrew v. Clinton

Campbell stated that Clinton, described as a far bigger name on the world stage, maintained a longer and closer friendship with Epstein than Prince Andrew did. Flight records show Clinton took between 17 and 26 flights on Epstein’s plane between 2001 and 2003. Later document releases in 2024 and 2025 included additional photos and mentions but did not produce confirmed evidence of island visits by Clinton.

Giuffre

Virginia Giuffre stated in a 2016 deposition that she saw Clinton on Epstein’s island and recalled Epstein saying Clinton owed him favors. She also alleged three encounters with Prince Andrew in London, New York, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Giuffre and Prince Andrew reached an out-of-court settlement in February 2022 with no admission of liability and a donation to charity. Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025; her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl was published in October 2025 without retracting the allegations against Andrew.

Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, along with Great St. James, was sold in 2023 to investor Stephen Deckoff for approximately 60 million dollars. The islands had previously been valued above 63 million dollars. Plans for a luxury resort were announced after the purchase, though no construction had begun as of early 2026.

Additional court and Department of Justice materials released in 2024 and 2025 supplied further details on Epstein’s travel records. The logs confirm Clinton’s multiple flights during the early 2000s but contain no verified entries placing him on Little St. James. Mentions of both Clinton and Andrew appear in the newer files, yet no major new accusations against Clinton emerged from the releases.

Prince Andrew Legal Resolution

The 2022 settlement ended Giuffre’s civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew. The agreement included no admission of liability and required a payment to charity. Subsequent years brought continued public discussion of Andrew’s titles and public role, though the lawsuit itself reached formal closure.

Comparisons between the two men’s associations with Epstein have persisted through court documents, flight data, and later interviews. Each development adds verified detail without resolving every question that remains in public records.
