Is the Disney Plus/Hulu bundle worth it? Here’s what the deal gets you
With the holiday season in full swing and quarantine sending you down a deep hole of boredom, we predict you’ll be spending a lot of time indoors relying on your electronic devices to keep you company. You’re probably wanting to be fully equipped with all the best streaming services with the best Spectrum internet prices, including the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle. However, before you make that big commitment, let’s first make sure you’ll be able to watch Hulu in Australia, and that the deal will be worth it for you.
What’s included in this deal?
Currently, Disney Plus offers a bundle pack with Hulu & ESPN Plus for $12.99 per month. At such a cheap price for three individual streaming services the bundle sounds like an amazing deal, and if you take advantage of all three platforms, it’ll definitely be worth the bang for your buck.
Hulu’s cheapest option is $5.99 per month, ESPN+ is currently priced at five dollars and ninety-nine cents a month, and purchasing Disney+ alone would run your wallet $6.99 each month. This means that if you chose to buy the bundle pack instead of purchasing all three services individually, you would save about $6 on a monthly basis.
What does each service offer?
While this all sounds like an offer too good to beat, let’s make sure you’ll actually be taking advantage of all three streaming platforms before you plug in your credit card information and sign in. These services offer three completely different types of content, so it will only benefit you if you are planning to actually utilize all three.
Disney+ is every Disney lover’s dream come true. This streaming service offers a variety of content from some of the world’s most beloved franchises such as Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. Some of these films are only exclusively available on streaming through purchasing this service, such as Toy Story 4 & Avengers: Endgame.
Plenty of exclusive original TV shows are also on here such as The Mandalorian & High School Musical: The Series, and Disney Plus is planning to release more TV shows in both the Marvel & Star Wars franchises. Some other popular originals from the service include the film Star Girl and two of Taylor Swift’s original music specials.
Hulu offers loads of television series as well as films. One note to consider though is that if you purchase the bundle pack, you would be buying the lowest-tier service that comes with advertisements that play throughout TV shows. However, if that’s not a bother to you, aside from the ads, Hulu is a great service filled with many streaming choices.
A wide variety of classic television shows are available on Hulu, such as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Adventure Time, and Real Housewives. Aside from these familiar titles, Hulu also offers plenty of original content such as the widely-loved The Handmaid’s Tale along with the newly raved-about drama series Normal People.
ESPN Plus will be a huge game changer to any sports fan. This service has received rights to some of the most popular events around the world. Their streaming options include a variety of events such as UFC boxing matches, daily MLB & NHL games, golf & tennis matches, and a whole lot more.
Will you be purchasing?
It goes without saying that the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle is a pretty great deal. However, we have to say that the monthly payment plans won’t be worth it unless you take advantage of all three services offered. If you only enjoy the options offered from one of these platforms, we recommend you to just purchase that subscription individually. Either way, watch on and start hunting for your next binge watch!
