Will Adele release a new album soon?
Music from Adele has always been incredible. Just rewind back to the very first song she released in 2007 “Hometown Glory” and you’ll realize she’s continued cranking out gold ever since. Some of her most popular songs include “Hello“, “Rolling in the deep”, “Someone Like You”, and “Set Fire to the Rain”. These tracks are so unforgettable because her voice is enchanting and her lyrics are heartfelt.
Adele writes from the heart which is why so many of her songs are beyond relatable to her listeners. The main question we have is about when her next album will be released. The last time Adele released an album was in 2015. It’s definitely been long enough! Here’s what we know about her new album.
Did Adele confirm her new album?
There have been mysterious billboards all over the place sparking rumors about an upcoming new album from Adele. In the most cryptic way ever, Adele changed her social media accounts to completely match up with a pretty blue backdrop. She adjusted her Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Channel, and official website to all look the same.
The billboards that have been springing up have the number “30” written on them which reminds people of the pattern Adele’s followed with all her previous album names. When she releases an album, all the songs are written during whatever year of her life was impactful.
Her albums 19, 21, and 25 all include the music she wrote during those respective years of her life. This means her next album will include songs she wrote while she was thirty years old.
Has Adele spoken out about the album yet?
Adele hasn’t publicly confirmed her new album with a statement just yet but back during her 31st birthday, she jokingly wrote about a possible album on Instagram. She wrote, “Thirty tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean into it all. No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times. I’ve changed drastically in the last couple of years and I’m still changing and that’s OK.”
She added, “Thirty-one is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade, I am ready to feel the world around me and look up for once. Be kind to yourself people. We’re only human, go slow, put your phone down, and laugh out loud at every opportunity.”
Since thirty apparently wasn’t the easiest year for her to get through, it probably inspired a lot of lovely lyrics. We’re finally going to find out what she went through during that year because the honest words of her music will reveal things to us.
When will the album drop?
It’s unclear exactly when the new album from Adele will drop since she hasn’t officially confirmed it aside from social media hints so far. She has been keeping herself busy though. According to Page Six, she and her boyfriend Rich Paul decided to go Instagram official in late September 2021.
They posted a super cute black-and-white photo booth picture of themselves together letting the world know that they are proud to claim each other! The first time they were spotted together was at the NBA finals in July sparking relationship rumors.
It didn’t take long for them to confirm what everyone was speculating. Since Rich Paul didn’t come into her life until after her 30th birthday, none of the songs in her upcoming album will likely be inspired by her relationship with him. Maybe one of her albums in the future will include some awesome Paul-inspired tracks.
