Short Film ‘Friends Call Us Unlucky’ playing at NewFilmLA

Film playing at NewFilmLA:

This will be my second time at the NewFilmLA festival. The short film is Friends Call Us Unlucky starring Gabriel Warburton.

When Lucky and Dex, two naive and ill-equipped criminals, bungle a home invasion attempt, the homeowners early return sets off a series of events showcasing luck has nothing to do with it.

The festival is in person October 21-22.

Friday, October 21st: Public-facing Panels (virtual)

Open to the public audience (free for you; Andrew will send links to all registered passholders).

Saturday, October 22nd: Screenings and Q&As (in-person)

Sunday, October 23rd: MovieMaker Interviews (in-person or virtual)

An all-access pass to the festival is $30, and a ticket to an individual program is $10 each.
