Hitting The Croisette With Wild7Films
The Wild7Films Team Made Waves For Themselves at Cannes Film Festival 2023
With multiple projects in development and offered for distribution in the international sales market, Wild7Films co-founders, Actor/Producer Kyle Stefanski, Director Mike Hermosa, and Producer Ryan Moore, along with Wild7Films creative consultant Jamar Hart, were seen much about town at the 2023 festival. Absent at Cannes for the festivities was their fourth co-founding partner, producer Gustavo Nascimento, who was back in Los Angeles handling post production work.
The buyers market at the 2023 Cannes International Film Festival included the Danny A. Abeckaser directed film Gemini Lounge, starring Emile Hirsch and Danny A. Abeckaser, Vincent Laresca, Lucy Hale, and Ashley Greene, along with Kyle Stefanski, Jake Cannavalle and Greg Finley. The film, produced in collaboration with 2B Films and directed by Danny A. Abeckaser, made foreign sales at the festival, and will be released in August under the name Inside Man, first domestically in North America. Produced by Wild7Films in partnership with 2B Films, this is a very exciting achievement for the group and their second joint production, following the 2021 feature film I Love Us.
Stefanski also has a featured role in the film The Engineer by 2B Films, which also sorted international distribution and presence at the Cannes foreign buyers market. The film, shot entirely in Israel, stars and was directed by Abeckaser, with actor Emile Hirsch as the male lead along with an Israeli based case of notable actors, Robert Davi, and Stefanski rounding out the cast.
