What makes BTS’s V smile? Everything he’s said about his ideal girlfriend

BTS member V’s smile has won over the entire ARMY of fans and the world at large. The singer is known for his unique, rectangular boxy smile that always has fans swooning over him. With that in mind, you have to wonder what it would be like to have such a unique smile focused on you, right? Part of the fun of boy bands is having some fantasies over being their significant other.

None of the members of BTS, so far as we know, are in confirmed relationships at this time. So there’s always a chance that you can win V over, have that smile directed at you, and head off into the sunset with the guy of your dreams. Sure, the odds may be astronomical! But they still exist, you know? So if you’re curious about what V’s ideal girlfriend would look like, then here’s what you need to know.

V’s ideal girlfriend

V has talked about his ideal girlfriend over the years. In a slam book entry from The Star, according to Koreaboo, V joined the other members of BTS in filling out a profile questionnaire in 2015. One of the topics that V went in depth on here is what he would like in his ideal partner. In his own words, he wrote:

“A girl that knows how to save money when I make money, someone to stop me if I spend too much money, a girl that says to buy a house before a car, and someone that is willing to give everything to their parents.” So he likes someone who is frugal, smart, forward thinking, and family oriented. Good to know for those ARMY members swooning over V’s smile.

He also wants someone that is good with animals and plans on having kids one day as well. Honestly? This is all stuff that people should be talking about with their SOs in general. Good on V for being so forward-thinking and mature in what he wants out of a romantic partner. Kudos.

Other qualities V looks for in an ideal girlfriend

V also shared some other qualities that he would like in this hypothetical girlfriend as well. He said, “My ideal type is a kind woman. I want her to be healthy mentally. Even better if she talks nicely too. It doesn’t matter if she’s not beautiful. But everyone says let’s wait and see how my future girlfriend looks like, I’m curious too.”

He wants a girlfriend who is kind and compassionate. Someone who takes care of herself mentally. By “talks nicely”, we think that he means someone intelligent over everything else. It looks like internal qualities are the most important part to V’s ideal partner. So it sounds like he wants someone that he can click with versus just a surface level sort of thing.

Again, V is rocking that maturity here. Seriously, you go! 

Kids and family

In addition to his ideal girlfriend, V has shared that he has some idea of what he would like his future to look like. Honestly? It’s incredibly sweet. It’ll make you swoon more than that smile of his. During the FEST 2020 celebrations, V confessed that he hopes that his children will be best friends with the children of the other BTS members one day. Can you hear the ARMY screaming from how adorable it is?

V also said that twenty years down the line, he hopes that the members of BTS could come together with their families in order to enjoy a meal together. Which is a freaking adorable thought, let’s be real. We hope that this dream could come true. V, why do you have to be so sweet?!
