MCU fans are itching for the next Marvel TV show, especially if they're called 'Hawkeye' and 'Ms. Marvel'. But when will these new Disney+ shows be released?

‘Hawkeye’ and ‘Ms. Marvel’: When can you watch these Marvel TV shows?

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had quite the wait to see what would happen to some of our favorite superhero characters after 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. Little did we know that Far From Home, would served as a Phase 3 epilogue to the MCU after the events of the Avengers: Endgame, would be the final MCU project fans would get to see for quite some time, given multiple project delays thanks to COVID-19.

Fast forward nearly two years and we’re here today, nearly halfway through 2021, where the MCU has once again become as familiar as the shoes on our own feet. Not only did fans finally get a chance to check out Black Widow, which was pushed back multiple months thanks to the global pandemic, but we’ve now seen three amazing Marvel TV shows on the Disney+ streaming service, all of which met our high expectations.

Of course, we’re referencing WandaVision, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki, three series with unique genres that had seemingly added a new layer to MCU storytelling. Now, with Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and The Eternals all on the horizon, what other possible MCU projects could we be looking forward to to expand this universe even further? Our guess is you already know.

Hawkeye

Many fans of the MCU were perplexed when it was announced that Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye would be getting his own Marvel TV show, as Hawkeye, like Black Widow, seemed to be a character that is best served in an ensemble setting, rather than leading projects of their own. However, once it was announced last year that Hailee Steinfeld would be filling the role of Kate Bishop, then we became stoked for this project.

Even better? While we won’t spoil Black Widow’s ending involving Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, as well as the events of Avengers: Endgame, we do have a better sense of where the Hawkeye storyline might be heading thanks to these aforementioned projects, as it’s clear that Hawkeye might not be out of the woods yet after the events of both Endgame and Black Widow

Hawkeye is also set to star Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, and Brian d’Arcy James.

Ms. Marvel

We knew as early as 2016 that Kevin Feige as well as Disney were dead set on exploring the world of Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. And now, it seems that this exciting story of a teenage Pakistanian superhero fiction writer will finally come to fruition, starring the likes of Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, and Rish Shah. But when can we finally check out this Marvel TV show?

When will we see these projects?

With fans excited to check out the upcoming animated series by Marvel, titled What If? here in a few weeks, many are curious when we will jump back into the main MCU timeline, or timelines thanks to the God of Mischief himself, Loki.

In a recent appearance at NALIP Media Summit, via Variety, Marvel Producer Victoria Alonso finally confirmed that the MCU will have a few other shows arrive before the end of the year, including both Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel. That’s great news! However, our question is, regardless of our excitement for a new Marvel TV show, might this be a case of saturation for the MCU and Disney plus?

After nearly two years of the MCU taking a pause, it feels like they’re trying to make up for lost time with an onslaught of content, and while, thus far, all of the content has been great, we’re nervous that these future projects might get tiresome for fans of this long running cinematic universe. Hopefully we’re wrong, as we’re dying for the next Marvel TV show to be released, which is of course the upcoming What If?
