When can you watch ‘Killing Eve’ season 4 on BBCAmerica?
By now, we’re all familiar with the story of Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh). She’s the British investigator responsible for capturing the psychopathic assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer). And as their chase progressed, the two developed a mutual obsession.
Jodie Comer is one of the most prominent actresses around right now, and at the moment, she’s very busy! Now, she has been in front of the camera for a little while, through pieces like My Mad Fat Diary and Doctor Foster. But it’s really been her role as the demented assassin Villanelle that has put great fame on her.
Recently, she appeared at the Free Guy premiere where she stars alongside Ryan Reynolds. It was here where she had the fans in mind as she talked about what we can expect from the upcoming final season. So, when can we expect to watch season 4 of Killing Eve on the BBC America? Here’s what we know so far!
Jodie Comer
Comer was asked whether she was feeling emotional about the show ending. She replied that she was trying to stay stoic since they still have two more months of filming. She said, “I really wanted to go out with a bang.”
“. . . What I will say about the show is they’re really kind of pushing boundaries and trying new formulas, especially for Villanelle which is a good thing in a way, knowing it’s the end because it’s like, ‘Right, let’s go for it.’ They’re definitely daring me to make a few choices.”
Clearly, she knows there’s still more work to be done but she talked about a moment she had with the clapper board. She thought, “Oh gosh, this is it, but we’ve got to put all to the side till the end.”
Cast
Killing Eve’s cast is filled with many talented actors and actresses! Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri, the M15 officer who was looking for Villanelle. She began her career in showbiz from an early age, performing in school plays. Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens. Harry Potter fans know her as Aunt Petunia Dursley. Villanelle’s handler Konstantin Vasiliev played by Danish actor Kim Bodnia.
Harriet Walter as Dasha, Owen McDonnell as Niko Polastri, Sean Delaney as Kenny Stowton, Raj Bajaj as Mo Jafari, Steve Pemberton as Paul, Gemma Whelan as Geraldine, Yuli Lagodinsky as Irina, Camillie Cottin as Helene, David Haig as Bill Pargrave, and more, we’ve come to know them all. The more we get to know characters, the more we want to know what’s in store for them.
Season 4
As we’ve said, Killing Eve is coming to an end. The fourth season might have been delayed but production never has to end permanently. Plus, the BBC America is coming up with a number of potential spin-offs which is just more for fans to hope for. They’re scheduled to start filming season 4 in the UK and across Europe this summer. The eight-episode run will be ready for binging in 2022.
The network and production company didn’t publish any specific information regarding a spin-off. But it is clear that the networks are eager to stretch the Killing Eve universe for just a little bit longer.
There’s plenty of characters whose stories could go on, and would Comer and Oh mind a stand-alone spinoff, including The Twelve, the shadowy organization associated with Villanelle, or The Bitter Pill, you know the group of investigative journalists who assist Polastri in her investigation?
