A comprehensive list of everyone Trixie Mattel has been in Twitter Wars with
Trixie Mattel is an American drag queen, singer, author, and television personality best known for her appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race. But who are some of the many people that Trixie has been in Twitter wars with? Here’s a comprehensive list of everyone that Trixie has gotten into heated arguments on the popular social media platform.
The first person on the list is none other than former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Derrick Barry. The pair got into it when Derrick questioned Trixie’s appearance on All Stars 5 and suggested she had no idea what she was doing. After an intense exchange of words back and forth about Trixie’s work ethic, the two eventually made up—but not before both airing out their grievances publicly via Twitter.
Next up is fellow drag queen Willam Belli who also found himself in Trixie’s crosshairs after his comments during a Q&A session at a drag convention. During the event, Willam suggested that while Trixie deserved to win All Stars 3, he felt like she wasn’t as deserving when it came to All Stars 5—a claim which prompted an icy response from Trixie. The two eventually reconciled but not before several snarky tweets were exchanged between them.
Other names on this list include Kim Chi—who found herself at odds with Trixie over comments related to mental health during a Drag Race viewing party—former judge Michelle Visage who was criticized by Trixie for her competitive attitude towards other contestants—and Katya Zamolodchikova (aka “Katya”), whose remarks about having more fun with drag than competing for cash prizes didn’t sit well with the reigning All Stars 5 victor.
Finally, we have Jeffree Star who has arguably had its most tumultuous relationship of all with Trixie. When Jeffree called out Shawn Mendes for attending Coachella in order to appear cool despite knowing nothing about music festivals, this didn’t sit well with Trixie—who promptly responded with some choice words about Jeffree’s own lack of knowledge about music culture. Needless to say, things didn’t end very well between these two!
So there you have it: a comprehensive list of everyone that Trixie Mattel has engaged in some sort of Twitter war over the years! From former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants to celebrity makeup artists, it looks like no one is safe from this talented performer’s shade-throwing skills!
