Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton: See how this couple got married secretly

It has been revealed that former The Voice coaches Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton are officially married! Six years ago, the couple first started dating while each musician was going through their separate divorces. Now, Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton have reportedly tied the knot on July 3rd!

On Saturday, the happy couple reportedly had a secret ceremony with loved ones in Oklahoma. Here are all the details about the intimate wedding and the newlyweds’ romantic journey since they first met!

Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton’s private wedding

The summertime wedding ceremony took place in Oklahoma on Shelton’s ranch. Sources reported that Blake Shelton built a wedding chapel on the ranch with the intention of marrying Gwen Stefani there one day.

A source reported last year, “He did it himself with help. It’s really a tribute to their love. They are going to get married in the chapel.” You can see how in love Shelton is based on how beautifully made the chapel is.

A luxury bus took Gwen Stefani’s parents and other wedding guests through the vast ranch property to the wedding ceremony. Pictures even reveal that a brand new house was built for his new wife & their family. The large family home sits beautifully on the Oklahoman ranch.

Blake Shelton revealed that he had no part in planning the wedding and left it all to his new wife Gwen. Shelton reported that “she knows that it would be a pretty classless wedding if I was in control.”

Many have speculated that a wedding was on the way when Stefani was seen with what seemed to be a wedding band while out in Los Angeles on June 12th. The pair first revealed their engagement back in October 2020.

First met in 2015

The two musicians met while working as coaches on The Voice, but they bonded as two people going through their own divorces. At the time, Shelton was divorcing his then-wife Miranda Lambert, while Stefani was divorcing her former husband Gavin Rossdale.

After sharing news of his divorce, “I won’t forget that day,” Shelton said in 2016. “I looked over at Gwen—who I didn’t really know—and she had these huge tears in her eyes. I thought, ‘Wow, she feels super bad for me!’”

“That’s kind of how our friendship and bond started, that day,” he revealed. “It went from that, to checking in on each other once a week through email—’This shit happened to me, what happened to you?’—to maybe three times a week, then every day, to ‘Hey, here’s my phone number if you ever want to text.’ Next thing I know, I wake up and she’s all I care about, and I’m wondering if she feels the same about me.”

It’s clear Gwen Stefani did return his feelings. “Blake is the greatest guy,” she told Stellar magazine in March. “I look back over the past few years and look at pictures of when I first started kissing Blake, and I look the best I’ve ever looked in my life in those photos.”

The couple revealed that they were engaged in October 2020 by posting an engagement photo on Instagram. “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life…” Shelton said on Instagram with a photo of himself kissing the singer as she showed her engagement ring. “I love you. I heard a YES!” The pop singer posted the same picture with the caption: “@blakeshelton yes please!”

The romance continues for these lovebirds since they married on their Oklahoman property! With a chapel & vast estate made by Shelton himself, it’s easy to see that the couple are as happy as can be.
