MrBeast, whose real name is actually Jimmy Donaldson, was born in Wichita, Kansas, on May 7th, 1998. Aside from being YouTube’s king, he’s also recognized to be a businessman, and philanthropist. Nonetheless, believe it or not his views were relatively low, receiving an average of around a thousand views, yet, there’s a post that changes everything for all content creators. “Counting up to 100,000” was the video that obtained tens of thousands of visits in a few days.
In January 2017, he posted a nearly 24-hour video of himself counting to 100,000. By the end of July 2022, he reached 100 million subscribers on YouTube, getting the platinum plaque, as you can see his work has been hard and consistent. Nothing good has been built from one day to another. Currently, MrBeast is a member of the talent management company Night Media, which is based in Dallas.
He’s videos are currently usually sponsored by third parties. Wait, don’t think that MrBeast takes all the money he gets, since most of his challenges have to do with giving large amounts of money away to strangers. For example, in December 2018 he gave US$100,000 worth of items to homeless shelters and this is only one of his multiple significant donations.
