No longer nude: Is former pornstar Mia Khalifa’s Only Fans X-rated?

Becoming famous is the wish of many, but what if you became visible through a dirty secret? Mia Khalifa became the most searched porn actress in only three months, nevertheless, this was never her plan, on the contrary. Khalifa was only twenty-one years old and emotionally unstable when she started doing porn, she says she found validation through it but never thought of becoming noted.

Visibility can be overwhelming, especially at a young age and with that level of nudity, not to mention the manipulative background Mia Khalifa was in. However, her porn videos’ appeal and transcendence wasn’t on the size of her breasts, Khalifa turned iconic when she performed XXX videos wearing a hijab. This incident cost her a family rupture & several threats.

The logical thing to do for several people would be to stay in the porn industry and take advantage of the fame, somehow that’s what Mia Khalifa did, but different. 

Khalifa is currently an actress, model, influencer, and activist against the porn industry. Mia Khalifa currently has an OnlyFans account, but her content is no longer pornographic. 

Why is Khalifa no longer XXX?

Mia Khalifa’s time in the porn industry reportedly left her traumatized. Even though her videos reached more than 800 million views, she was only paid once, and that’s called exploitation. Nevertheless, that’s the way the porn industry works. As it was first mentioned, Khalifa was emotionally coerced to perform, she wasn’t in a horizontal position to consciously consent, and that’s called abuse.

However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. After her porn-hub explosion, Khalifa lost her family, several friends, job opportunities, and her whole privacy. All this, when she was only twenty-one years old. It’s completely understandable for her not to want to perform explicit content again, even more when it comes to someone else’s benefit. 

However, platforms like OnlyFans have changed the game. Mia Khalifa has had an OnlyFans account since 2020, yet, her content is not explicit. When she first started on this platform, several users complained about the money they were paying and the lack of nudity they had access to. 

Even though OnlyFans is known for its sexual content, creators are free to upload whatever they want, while it respects the terms and conditions of the platform.  It’s sad & disgusting the way a handful of men perceive they can access women’s bodies through money. Khalifa’s case is a great example to point out the way men perceive feminine sexuality, believing that as she got naked once, she should keep doing it. 

What is Khalifa’s OnlyFans content? 

Even though Kalifa’s content isn’t precisely pornographic, there’s an element of sex work there. Her OnlyFans account is currently filled with non-explicit, but still hot pictures of her. It looks like she’s using her past in her favor and setting boundaries towards her visibility. Nonetheless, in the beginning, she offered several free interviews as well as links related to grammar improvement in her account.

To many people, this attitude of Khalifa might seem goody-goody or even a hypocrite, however, she’s in her whole right to decide what to share and its cost. Consent isn’t given once and forever, on the contrary, it’s something that changes according to desire. Ideally, all people should be able to consciously decide what they want, and not feel coerced by fear or tradition.

The situation with images in the digital era is the fact that they stay forever, but no woman should be shamed over a bad decision in her past. Hopefully, through OnlyFans, Khalifa can keep doing the content she’s comfortable with, and capitalizing on it as she pleases. On past occasions, she has donated the money. However, it’s her account, her body, and her choice.
