She has since been able to move on to other avenues including regular modeling (with her clothes on), sports radio hosting, social media influencing, and television producing.

The shocking news about Mia Khalifa today is that she’s going through a major divorce from her husband, Robert Sandberg. Here’s what we know so far.

But this week, Khalifa posted something that has nothing to do with her beauty at all . . . It’s all about her looming divorce.

Mia Khalifa’s failed marriage

According to Mia Khalifa’s IG, her divorce isn’t something random at all. It’s been in the works for a while, in fact. She posted, “We can confidently say that we gave everything to make our marriage work, but after almost a year of therapy & efforts, we walked away knowing that we have a friend in the other, and that we really tried.” Knowing that the two have chosen to remain friends through this makes the news hurt a little less.

The post continued, “We will always love & respect each other because we know that it was not an isolated event that caused our breakup, but rather the accumulation of fundamental, irresolvable differences that no one can blame on the other for.” Their approach towards this split seems to be very mature & amicable. 

She concluded it all by saying, “We are closing this chapter with no regrets and both starting our own, separately but connected through incredible family, friends, and love for our dogs. This has been long overdue, but we’re glad we took our time and gave it our all, and can walk away saying that we tried our absolute hardest.” The sad truth is that sometimes trying your hardest in a relationship just isn’t enough.

Who is Robert Sandberg?

The world knows who Mia Khalifa is. She’s beautiful, hard-working, and classy despite the fact that haters might try to tear her down with negative commentary based on things she did in the past. But who we don’t know much about is her soon-to-be ex-husband, Robert Sandberg. According to his Instagram, he’s a professional chef who lives in Los Angeles. 

Sandberg’s Instagram feed shows off a lot of the delicious-looking gourmet foods that he prepares and it occasionally includes some cute pics of his dogs. He also features a lot of sweet & romantic pictures of himself with Khalifa. Even though their marriage is no longer intact, it’s likely they’ll keep their pictures up together to hold onto the memories. Just because their marriage is over, it doesn’t mean they aren’t still on good terms

Now that Khalifa is single, single guys (and girls) everywhere are shooting their shots. One Twitter user asked, “How many DM’s do you think @MiaKhalifa received when she announced she was single?” She promptly responded saying, “My block button has never been exercised more.
