Is Joe Biden embracing the meme? Watch his unusual thirst trap now

C0uld President Joe Biden finally be embracing meme culture? Hey, anything to promote Americans getting vaccinated, right? Earlier this week, pop star Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House to spread the word about COVID vaccinations, and the internet went crazy over it. Before her arrival though, Joe Biden posted a throwback pic of himself, and of course, the internet went even crazier. Let’s look at the details here.

Throwback?

President Joe Biden, or at least his media team, are certainly becoming aware of the true power and influence of meme culture. Before pop star Olivia Rodrigo arrived at the White House to promote COVID vaccinations, Joe Biden also did the same thing on his Instagram page. But instead of a typical photo of him, the President, or at least his media team, shared an old throwback picture of a much younger Joe Biden instead.

In fact, most people are even going so far as calling it a thirst trap. . . Hmm. . . What do you think they called thirst traps back in the day? Either way, that’s exactly what the new post looked like. The Instagram caption to the photo read: “I know this young person would’ve gotten vaccinated, but we’ve got to get other young people protected as well. Who’s willing to help?” We can’t lie, he does look pretty good if we say so ourselves.

Is it getting hot in here? This throwback thirst trap of President Joe Biden sent the internet crazy, and people have not only been making jokes about the President trying to join meme culture to promote COVID vaccines in the comments section, but some have also been seriously thirsting over Joe Biden as well. Other users wrote some pretty flirty comments such as “YOUNG JOE CAN GETTT IT” and another even added “Are your DMs open, Joe?” Someone else also wrote that “HE KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING”, insinuating that Joe Biden truly knows just how influential meme culture can be now.

Another user wrote: “Why is potus thirst trappin again with this picture? Haha”. Since the post was made on Tuesday, it has garnered over 23.8 thousand comments and over 1.7 million likes. Pop singer Olivia Rodrigo even commented “I’m in!” in the picture in regards to getting vaccinated. The internet went even wilder after the pop star made her appearance at the White House and the two posted photos with one another.
