Nicole Brown Simpson: Why her family don’t believe O.J. Simpson’s “lies”
Ever since the horrific double murder of Nicole Brown & Ron Goldman, the mystery about if O.J. Simpson really killed them or not has been a huge story to follow. The unfortunate attack took place at Brown’s home in 1994. Brown & Simpson were married from 1985 to 1992 and shared two children together: Sydney & Justin. When they decided to split up, she began dating someone new . . . Ron Goldman.
Unfortunately, Goldman ended up getting murdered in the same evening as her. Their deaths were ruled as a homicide by stabbing & slashing. It can’t get any worse than that. Their devastating deaths broke the hearts of many people they left behind. Here’s what Brown’s family has to say about Simpson today.
O.J. Simpson’s recent statement
O.J. Simpson recently made a statement that caused quite a stir. According to Yahoo!, He said, “I have trouble with LA. People may think this is self-serving, but I might be sitting next to whoever did it. I really don’t know who did this.” After this quote was made public, social media was quick to attack his words since a huge chunk of society believes Simpson’s actually the one who committed the heinous crime.
He also added while speaking to The Athletic, “I figured eventually somebody would confess to something, you know? I had one suspect I told my lawyers to look at. I still think he might be involved, but I can’t talk about it.” His comments were not met in a receptive manner by too many people, including Nicole Brown’s family.
Nicole Brown’s sister snaps back
Nicole Brown’s sister, Tanya Brown, has absolutely no patience for O.J. Simpson’s statements. According to TMZ, she referred to his comments as being both absurd & disrespectful. She mentioned that they only further prove how delusional he is. She said all anyone really has to do to figure it out with this crime is look back at DNA evidence from the murder scene.
DNA at the murder scene comes from only three people: Nicole Brown, Ron Goldman, and OJ Simpson. Tanya Brown mentioned that since Simpson’s been feeding himself his own lies for so many years in a row, it’s likely he believes his own lies at this point.
She didn’t forget to add that she’s forgiven Simpson and even has some pity for him, but overall she would like him to let this whole thing go. The respectful thing for him to do would be to stop publicly commenting on the situation so her family can continue healing from her loss at their own pace.
Honoring Nicole Brown’s memory
Before Nicole Brown’s senseless murder, she was a beautiful & vibrant woman. She was born in Germany but quickly acclimated to the American lifestyle after moving to the United States at the age of three. She grew up with three sisters, Denise, Dominique, and Tanya. While Tonya has publicly spoken out against O.J. Simpson, her other sisters haven’t recently said much.
Brown was known for being an absolute beauty growing up, which is why she was named Homecoming Princess during her high school years. Brown met O.J. Simpson when she was just eighteen years old while working as a waitress in an upscale Beverly Hills club called Daisy.
This is where she ran into Simpson for the very first time. They hit it off, even though he was married to someone else and dealing with his football career headed towards a downward spiral at the time. Unfortunately, their marriage was riddled with problems from his infidelity to his physical abuse.
The fact that he was so physically abusive towards her, and allegedly threatened to kill her multiple times, is what leads most people to believe he did indeed kill both her & Ron Goldman —despite his acquittal in court.
