5 Breathtaking Wedding Venues in Montana

When you fall in love with someone, you want nothing more than to see smiles spread across their face and to feel joy radiate from them. This love is unlike any other – it is the one you will cling to no matter how challenging your day has been. It will weather the storms, and always pull you in.

It is this kind of love that leads to marriage.

Loving someone to this degree is a beautiful gift and deserves a wedding just as magnificent. A wedding jazz band, with beautiful scenery, and loved ones around calls for the perfect wedding. It is no secret that Montana is home to some of the most stunning scenery. Montana’s big, open skies and beautiful mountains are unmatched elsewhere.

While there are many incredible options, these five wedding venues stand apart from the rest:

The Chateau Event Center

If you have ever found yourself fantasizing about the perfect fairy-tale wedding, this may be the place for you.

Whether it is castles, gardens, mountains, or trees that your heart desires – the Chateau Event Center is happy to oblige. Along with this beautiful scenery, Hyalite Creek runs through this magnificent forty-acre property as well.

When you enter The Chateau Event Center, it is like entering another world. The rugged elegance of its french design is bound to take your breath away. Tall ceilings with beautiful open beams pair exquisitely with a stunning rock fireplace.

One of the most iconic aspects of this space is the elegant set of french doors leading to a beautiful patio. The entire atmosphere is breathtaking.

As long as your guest list is less than 150 people, there is plenty of room for everyone to join your celebration. There are multiple changing rooms, indoor and outdoor event areas, as well as a beautiful bar.

You can make use of their bar services, or hire your own bartender for the event. There are many ways to customize your experience to fit your aspirations.

Summer Star Ranch

If you love scenic views of mountains and horses, Summer Star Ranch should be at the top of your list.

The Summer Star Ranch owners are dedicated to helping achieve every aspect of the dream you have for your special day. Between their dedication and this venue’s amazing scenery, this setting is difficult to beat. It is also one of the larger venues available and can accommodate up to 250 guests.

Imagine saying vows near beautiful pastures with the Rocky Mountains rising majestically in the distance; it’s the perfect backdrop for wedding pictures. This locale is unique, offering a taste of southern charm without losing its modern vibes.

You also have the option of staying in their cabin or glamping in their very over-the-top tents. The cabins are absolutely stunning and offer ample space for guests to stay and embrace this little slice of heaven.

The tents are loaded with perks like a king-size bed, full-sized bathtub, and so much more. If you aren’t already sold, the horses are not just for visual appeal. They offer scenic trail rides that can only be reached on horseback.

Part of what makes this place so special is its drive to please. They have created strong relationships with local artisans and vendors to help you reach every aspiration for the big day. After all, this is your special day; you should be able to fully enjoy it without the added stressors.

Atanaha Event Center

At one point, Atanaha Event Center was known as Brumar Estates, yet the new owners of this fine establishment have served very well. Guy and Vianna Stibal are dedicated to bringing your wedding fantasy to life.

They offer in-house catering and have options for an open bar as well. The team of coordinators works hand in hand with you to ensure your vision is met. They also handle the setup and cleanup for you, so you can spend your time enjoying yourself and soaking in the moment.

The Bridal Suite is spacious enough to include the entire wedding party and has plenty of privacy to keep the bride’s dress a surprise. The real icing on the cake is the Groom’s Barn. Here, the soon-to-be husband and his closest friends are welcome to play a round of pool or challenge each other in video games.

This beautiful twelve-acre property sits at the base of the Swan Mountains and grants sights that are simply mesmerizing. There are options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Some couples choose to have their ceremonies with the waterfall as a backdrop.

This is the perfect spot for either a small or large wedding because the grounds can accommodate 300-400 people comfortably.

Sage Lodge

The unreal view of the mountains from Sage Lodge is fit for a postcard. While here, you have an unobstructed view of Paradise Valley, Absaroka Mountains, Yellowstone River, and Emigrant Peak. These are among the most indescribable views imaginable.

Sage Lodge is equipped to handle large families. The main lodge has sixteen guest rooms; there are an additional four ranch houses on the property as well. Each ranch house offers four bedroom spaces but can sleep up to sixteen people.

Aside from the obvious visual appeal of Sage Lodge, there is much to enjoy. Within their 1200 acres, there are several places to hike, bike, fish, and sight-see.

If soaking in the great outdoors is not at the top of your list, they also have a spa to indulge in.

Mozingo Event Center

If you are planning a large wedding, Mozingo Event Center can accommodate up to 500 guests. While there are options for family cabins and RV parking, there are also several hotels nearby as well. This is convenient for couples who have many guests traveling from afar to attend.

The elegant wedding dais overlooks Lake Mozingo, creating a scenic backdrop. Meanwhile, the lodge itself is wonderfully exquisite but maintains a cozy atmosphere. Your caterer will have access to the kitchen so everything stays organized and stress free. On the lower levels, there is even a full-service bar and restaurant.

While here, you can take advantage of their beautiful golf courses, hiking trails, boating areas, fishing spots, challenge courses, and even a public beach. While some things are surely seasonal, most are available for your pleasure year-round.

The Bottom Line

There is really no right or wrong answer when it comes to finding a venue for your wedding. The greatest part of this decision is simply determining what makes you happy. Once you have a vision, the diligent workers at any of these establishments will be there and ready to help you.

Choosing one of these amazing venues is sure to be an experience all in itself. All five of these locations offer different views and capacities.

However important they may seem, remember that these details are insignificant in the long run. After all, the hardest part of getting married is finding that person you can’t spend a day without.

Nonetheless, with a team of skilled coordinators at your service, the “big day” is sure to become a beautiful memory that you will forever cherish.
