Socrative may be utilized for quick quizzes and also on the fly, as I’ve previously explained. Here’s even more benefit: Before class, I designed quizzes that can be played as the game Space Race. The website divides the class into teams automatically. Children are aware of whose color team they are on and may observe the rockets competing on the board. I do not permanently record the grade, especially when I know I have additional teaching to undertake.

I use SMART Notebook, which includes SMART Lab as an add-on. It allows me to create games similar to Kahoot yet collects data like Socrative. SMART Lab is a free add-on for SMART Notebook software purchasers, and a SMART board is not required.

Nearpod is another excellent gadget in this category. You can construct presentations with quizzes, evaluations, drawing boards, and other interactive elements.

I enjoy that Nearpod and SMART Lab are connected since I wouldn’t say I like having to deliver information, then move to a formative assessment tool, and then return to the presentation tool. Everything is centralized.

4. Formative Assessment With Videos Formative assessment 

It  has two applications. When folks watch videos,you want to ensure that they understand the material.

Previously, I would recommend Zaption, but it has since stopped down. And even though Vizia claimed to be a replacement, I would prefer Edpuzzle. Edpuzzle enables you to insert questions within a video, communicate with students, and monitor their engagement with digital information.

The second and possibly most engaging technique of formative evaluation involves having students create movies to demonstrate their learning. This second option is highly excellent since it saves so much time. For instance, students who are learning to count can do it via video or voice.
