Here’s why ‘This Week Live’ is Hosers’ answer to ‘Late Night’

October 3rd, 2019 was the release of This Week Live, which hosts some of Canada’s most notable names in politics, business, tech, and entertainment. The hour-long show is shedding light on the news locally and internationally.

Through a Canadian lens are shown politicians, entertainers, newsmakers, and cultural influencers. This Week Live will be a comedy, but also thought-provoking.

Michael Bratch, creator and host of This Week Live, reports that “The show strives to provide a Canadian perspective on politics, news and entertainment in a format we see from our Southern neighbors. Late night television in our nation is dominated with the U.S. worldview, and we’re aiming to change that in a fun and engaging manner.”

Bratch is a veteran Toronto advertising executive who is always thinking out of the box. He has been able to be a part of a variety of fields including an earth-to-table restaurant, real estate development, and even cattle farming. Rightfully so, Bratch became one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40.

Bratch continued by saying, “This talented team of This Week Live is passionate, intelligent, pithy, and occasionally right on the mark. They understand the importance of satirizing the news and the characters with it – even when the stories are often already stranger than fiction.”

We can’t wait to keep seeing the show in action. This Week Live premiers nationally on CHCH every Thursday night (Friday morning) at 12:30AM EST and 9:30PM Pacific and will be available online at ThisWeekLive.com, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
