With documents coming out thanks to the Ghislaine Maxwell case, many are wondering if the famous friends of Jeffrey Epstein are going down too.

Jeffrey Epstein friends named in fresh unsealed files

Jeffrey Epstein cultivated powerful connections that helped shield him from accountability for years. The years since his 2019 arrest and death have brought far more than the Maxwell trial documents once anticipated. Court unsealed records in 2024, followed by millions of additional pages released by the Department of Justice in late 2025 and early 2026, have surfaced fresh emails, photos, and flight details involving many of the same names.

The January 2024 unsealing in the Giuffre v. Maxwell civil case opened hundreds of previously sealed exhibits. The Epstein Files Transparency Act then prompted the Department of Justice to publish more than three million pages across December 2025 and January 2026. House Oversight Committee releases added further photographs and internal correspondence. These batches have clarified timelines and placed additional names alongside the five figures originally profiled.

Virginia Giuffre remained a central witness throughout the released materials. She accused Prince Andrew of sexual encounters when she was underage, a claim he has always denied. The two sides reached a civil settlement in 2022. Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025; her estate continues to handle residual legal matters tied to that agreement.

Wexner's Evolving Scrutiny and Legal Challenges

Les Wexner’s relationship with Epstein extended well beyond the 2019 statement that severed ties. A 2026 New York lawsuit alleges Wexner funneled more than two hundred million dollars into Epstein’s network. Wexner gave a deposition to the House Oversight Committee in February 2026 and has been referenced in FBI documents as a possible co-conspirator, allegations he continues to deny.

Krauss Post-Epstein Contact and Emails

Lawrence Krauss maintained written contact with Epstein after the financier’s 2019 arrest. Released emails show Krauss asking Epstein for advice on handling sexual misconduct allegations at Arizona State University. Krauss retired from the university in 2019 following internal findings and has remained largely out of public view since the new files surfaced in 2025.

The same document batches name numerous other billionaires, politicians, and academics. Reporting from 2026 has also highlighted modeling industry scouts who allegedly funneled young women toward Epstein. These wider connections sit alongside the original profiles without altering the documented associations already established for Clinton, Trump, Prince Andrew, Krauss, and Wexner.

Bill Clinton

The former president’s name appears repeatedly in flight logs, with at least twenty-six trips aboard Epstein’s plane between 2002 and 2003. Clinton has stated the travel supported Clinton Foundation work and that he never visited Little St. James. Maxwell’s deposition echoed that denial. Witnesses and photographs still place him in Epstein’s social orbit during those years.

Donald Trump

Trump’s friendship with Epstein ended sometime between 2004 and 2007 after a reported dispute over a Mar-a-Lago property and an alleged incident involving a member’s daughter. Trump later said he banned Epstein from the club. The two men had socialized earlier, and Maxwell is alleged to have recruited Virginia Giuffre while Giuffre worked at the resort, though Trump’s direct role in that recruitment remains unestablished.

Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew’s ties to Epstein span flight logs, the black book, photographs, and legal filings. Virginia Giuffre accused him of sexual encounters when she was underage. He settled her civil suit in 2022 and was later stripped of his remaining titles and honors. The Department of Justice has continued to seek information about his relationship with Epstein.

Lawrence Krauss

Krauss received substantial donations from Epstein and helped organize scientific conferences on Little St. James. Emails released in 2025 show him consulting Epstein on Title IX matters at Arizona State University after Epstein’s arrest. Krauss retired amid separate misconduct findings and has kept a low profile.

Les Wexner

Wexner began as Epstein’s client and later became a major source of his wealth. Epstein purchased an eight-story Manhattan mansion from Wexner for a reported one dollar. The 2026 lawsuit and congressional deposition have renewed questions about the extent of Wexner’s knowledge and financial support. Wexner maintains he ended contact years earlier and had no involvement in illegal activity.

The newly released files have supplied additional context and documentation without resolving outstanding questions of criminal liability for most of the individuals named. Associations appear in logs, ledgers, and correspondence; proof of direct participation in Epstein’s crimes remains a separate legal matter for each case.
