Do these reviews prove ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ will lose money?
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be released on October 1. With the release, we see Eddie (Tom Hardy) and his symbiotic alien, Venom, off to another adventure. This time it’s fighting Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) and his own symbiote, Carnage. Now, we’re seeing the reviews. A day before Venom: Let There Be Carnage had released the critical reviews on the world.
Oh boy. So, if critic reviews for a product are being released a day before the movie is released? It doesn’t mean it will be very good. Do we need Venom: Let There Be Carnage reach a definition of “good” or do we want it to be fun? Let’s see what the critics think.
Review: #VenomLetThereBeCarnage 3.5/5 🌟's
The second installation of Venom is well worth the wait & loads of fun. The Venom sequel finds its stride as a dark comedy, infused with Woody Harrelson's fresh, chaotic energy. Tom Hardy is fantastic & officially owns this role now. pic.twitter.com/0NLGbrssDg

Let chaos reign
Ready for the Chaos Crew?
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard that a sequel released by Sony Pictures getting more positive reviews than its first installment, I’d have two nickels.
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.#Venom2 #VenomLetThereBeCarnage #movies pic.twitter.com/pJk8tSlcO1

Huh
Well, they liked it more than the first one.
what kind of review is this? #VenomLetThereBeCarnage deserves to be reviewed by competent people who can give a real consensus and not just say "this movie is bad" pic.twitter.com/v1yZgRY953

Movie bad
I think that’s just a defeated man, friend.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is banana pants crazy in the best way possible. There is action, humor, heart, several love stories, & if you thought the symbiotes looked cool in the first one, you haven’t seen anything yet!

Still.
For those, however, who knows what Venom: Let There Be Carnage is?
#VenomLetThereBeCarnage is so utterly committed to its stupidity that you simply can't help but respect, and ultimately, enjoy it.

You gotta give it props
It knows what it is.
#VenomLetThereBeCarnage's first reviews are out and they're…actually somewhat good. Critics are praising Hardy and Harrelson's performances, Serkis' direction, the action while criticizing the plot. My guess, it'll probably land around the 60-70% mark on Rotten Tomatoes. pic.twitter.com/6HQkqTnLue

We’re not asking for much here
Again, people like it more than the first one. We’ll take it.
“To simultaneously be outlandishly hysterical, surprisingly sweet & bafflingly middling is quite the feat – something #VenomLetThereBeCarnage achieves.” However, Tom Hardy makes it worth your attention. My review via @FreshFictionTV: https://t.co/gyC63DJFZM

Buckle up
Give us the rollercoaster!
If a sentient bag of cocaine had access to Final Draft, they would write #VenomLetThereBeCarnage. A gleefully chaotic movie that fully embraces a tone that its 2018 predecessor hesitated to do. My review: https://t.co/GUHas7Viil

The descriptors here
Awesome.
I would really love more superhero movies to embrace being big, zany fun like #VenomLetThereBeCarnage https://t.co/p4TLFSuU9x

We need to use zany more
Seriously though. Just let superheroes be fun.
I don’t care how bad the reviews are I’m still going to see #VenomLetThereBeCarnage #Venom2 pic.twitter.com/RPzyNfULYc
