Could we really see Andrew Garfield in the upcoming 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'? See the reasons why it's possible.

Will Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland join forces in new ‘Spider-Man’?

Do you think that the Spider-Man movie fans are imagining in their heads for No Way Home will live up to the reality when it’s released in December? We’re going to be real with you all, we don’t think it will. Mainly because if Tobey Maguire and/or Andrew Garfield don’t show up in the movie, then they’re going to write it off as a lost cause all around.

Of course, press interviews featuring the actors, in particular Garfield, have not been that encouraging. Between evasiveness and outright denying their involvement in the upcoming MCU Spider-Man movie, it’s hard to tell what was leaked or photoshopped versus, you know, everything being real. There have been many, many leaks of the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. We don’t know reality anymore.

So, well, until the upcoming film is released, then we’re just going to have to guess until then, right? No one is going to come outright and say things, right? Well, maybe, we have some confirmation for Spider-Man: No Way Home. (Also this article will contain some spoilers for Venom: Let There Be Carnage.)

Is there no hope?

You can’t see it right now, but we’re making the iffy sign with our hand. We won’t outright say that there’s no hope that Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield will appear in the upcoming movie. A major part of that is due to the release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. One of the post-credits scenes of the movie shows Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) & Venom transported to the MCU after Peter’s (Tom Holland) identity was released.

With that on the table, well, it looks more likely? Honestly, we weren’t expecting to see Tom Hardy show up in Spider-Man: No Way Home. So that apparent confirmation? It’s . . . interesting. We’re interested, just making it clear. Because it could mean that there’s potential in other Spider-Men being summoned to the MCU if Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) spell was behind bringing Eddie/Venom here.

Plus, we’ll be real, the denials of other Spider-Man actors like Andrew Garfield & Tobey Maguire are ringing a bit with “the lady doth protest too much” to most people. It wouldn’t be the first time that Marvel Studios has had actors deny, deny, deny in order to keep audiences guessing in an attempt to keep any & all opening weekend surprises underwraps.

Hmmmm . . .

In addition to what we’ve seen from Venom: Let There Be Carnage’s credit scenes, we’ve also got some VFX artists who are quite ready & willing to talk about videos and images from No Way Home’s and their veracity. This video, allegedly, says that the leaked images of Andrew Garfield on the Spider-Man set are definitely, totally real, which would be great to see. Garfield deserves a good send-off.

The Corridor Crew, in the above video, is composed of VFX artists. They all took a long, long look at videos & images from the Spider-Man: No Way Home set to determine, once & for all, if they are truly deep fake or not. Based on their expertise? They say no. These videos are definitely real and haven’t been messed with in any way, shape, or form.

Unfortunately, while this is compelling evidence, we just won’t know until Spider-Man: No Way Home is released in theatres come December. Don’t get us wrong. We’d love to see it. With all the rumors, however, Spider-Man: No Way Home may be setting up fans for some major disappointment.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be out in theaters on December 17, 2021. Do you think Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire will appear in the movie? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
