Lucifer Season 6: Everything You Need To Know
One of the top series on Netflix, Lucifer, was thought to have ended with its season 5. But, Fox confirmed that there would be a Lucifer season 6 coming on Netflix, which will be the final season of Lucifer. Prior to this confirmation, the continuous involvement of Tom Ellis made everyone think about another season.
The confirmation of Lucifer Season 6
When season 5 of Lucifer ended, we all were pretty sure that the end of this series had arrived. However, at the same time, many of us were not happy with the way the series ended, which made many conduct campaigns and petitions. So, it can be true that after seeing these campaigns, the show is renewed to satisfy the fans.
At the beginning of 2020, there were initially rumors that Netflix is moving to renew the series and started signing all for the same. Towards the end of February 2020, Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson signed for the sixth season, and in May, finally, Tom Ellis signed.
The date on which it was officially announced was 23rd June 2020, and season 6 will indeed be the final season of Lucifer.
Release Date of Lucifer Season 6
Well, the exact release date of the final season is still not known, and we know that Covid-19 has led to a delay in filming, so we can expect it to be released in early 2022.
However, once the production is over and everything will be set to launch, we all will be informed of the launch date some days prior. So, till then, we can wait and feel excited to see the final season.
Who all are involved in Lucifer Season 6: The Casting
Well, the casting of season 6 is a bit interesting, as we’ll see some old and some new faces as well.
In the season finale, all our favorite humans and celestials will come to amaze us. This involves Lucifer/Michael, who Tom Ellis plays, Chloe Decker, played by Lauren German, Amenadiel, played by DB Woodside, Dr. Linda Martin, acted by Rachael Harris.
Apart from these characters, we will also see Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen Bar, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Lavi as Eve.
Despite the fact that Dan Espinoza was dead, Kevin Alejandro states that this is not the end of Dan, so we will definitely see him back in the series.
Talking about the new faces, it was announced in December that there would be two new members in the celestial crew, namely Deadpool, which will be played by Brianna Hildebrand, and Alias, played by Merrin Dungey.
Also, on Twitter, Scott Porter confirmed that he will also come back in season 6 and will play Detective Carol Corbet.

Well, it would be better not to get in deep of season 6; otherwise, we’ll know beforehand that will happen, and we’ll lose our excitement. So, if you’ve seen the fifth season, you would know that by now Lucifer is Go, Michael got rid of the winds, and Chloe resigned from LAPD.
From one of the interviews, it was revealed that the sixth season would begin from a time jump. As in the fifth season, everyone got the things they wanted, so in a way, this season will depict what will happen next when they all received what they wanted.
So, it would not be alright to know everything that is going to happen in the sixth season due to obvious reasons. It will be better to wait and hold on to the excitement until the wait is over.
