It’s been 17 years since Firefly first aired. Seventeen years. If Firefly were a person, he or she would be one year from adulthood, no doubt more well adjusted and mature than we are over the cancellation of shows that took place in the early aughties.

We would never want to generalize, but at literally any comic con, gen con, or con con (conventions for con-men), there are at least a dozen Malcolm Reynoldses walking around, flaunting their suspenders, and reminding us of a show we once loved and lost and mourned.
