Who’s going to join Tom Holland in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’?
The best information always seems to come from the oddest places. A brand new Funko Pop for the film Spider-Man: No Way Home that debuted today reveals a new suit for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The suit seems to contain upgrades that could only come from a certain Sorcerer Supreme, confirming many fan theories.
Tom Holland’s new Spider-Man suit is not the only spoiler to come out via the movie’s toy line, as the Lego set for the film includes a key location for the film that many already speculated would appear.
Naturally, many Marvel fans took to Twitter to discuss the implications of these spoilers and see how they add in to all the theories that are already being discussed. We swung our way through the threads to find more information and the best reactions to this Tom Holland’s Spider-Man spoiler. Get your Funkos out of the box and dive into these toy spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Toy spoilers
The new Funko-Pop from the Spider-Man: No Way Home line seems to showcase Peter Parker’s new suit with sorcerer upgrades, including a chest piece that mirrors Doctor Strange’s classic amulet The Eye of Agamotto. With very little other promotional material having been released, fans are eager to get whatever information they can, with these toys revealing quite a bit about who may appear to help our beloved wall-crawler.
The “Integrated Suit” seems to be a combination of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man’s previous two suits, the first being the one made for him by Tony Stark and the second being the one he made himself during his last film. Due to the magical aspects the suit clearly has, many speculate that this suit may be what allows Spider-Man to travel within the Multiverse, proving that the Spiderverse has a role to play in the film.
If the Multiverse is involved alongside magic, who else can we expect but the Sorcerer Supreme himself to appear? It seems like Doctor Strange will be a key player in the film, as the new Lego set for the film has his Sanctum Sanatorium as one of the locations you can purchase, marketing it as a key item. Many use this to prove that Doctor Strange’s New York home may be a key location in the film alongside other fun theories.
The theorizing continues
These theories on the film are certainly not the only ones circulating the internet, especially when it comes to the role of the Multiverse in the film. Though it was already announced that the film would tie into Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness, there’s still a lot of unanswered questions that some have tried to answer.
Theories include how the other two live-action Spider-Men, played by Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, will appear in the film as the MCU’s Spider-Man tries to repair the multiverse and discovers the Spider Verse. Others add to this idea by stating that many of their villains, including Jamir Foxx’s Electro, would also appear, a theory backed up by Alfred Molina’s announcement that he’d be reprising his role as Do Ock.
Adding to that line of thought is the giant green monster that comes with the new Lego set, leaving many to assume that a certain Goblin and a certain Scorpion could also make an appearance in the film. In short, there’s no shortage of theories and no shortage of excitement over the third installment of this amazing film series.
