Why doesn’t Kylie Jenner want fans digging up her pre-plastic surgery photos?
Fans of the hit reality series Keeping up with the Kardashians were sad to see their favorite family of sisters and Rob finally go off the airwaves after the show’s series finale as well as its subsequent two-part reunion special aired, hosted by Andy Cohen. All of the sisters, including Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner looked great! Well, perhaps some better than others.
Look, we don’t like judging others based on physical appearance here at Film Daily. That being said, while it’s obvious that all of these sisters have had work done over the years, it stood pretty obvious just how much work the twenty-three-year-old Kylie Jenner has had done over her short time, looking like a literal piece of plastic that was chiseled to look like a Kardashian sister. Plastic surgery really shouldn’t be a hobby, people.
Now, because of all of her plastic surgery work, Kylie Jenner fans have fled to the social media service TikTok to share older photos of the makeup entrepreneur & billionaire, pointing out how beautiful Kylie Jenner was before all of her surgeries, photos that mind you Kylie Jenner has worked very hard to hide from the internet. So, what issues did/does Kylie Jenner have over her face? As well, what’s with all the plastic surgery?
KUWTK reunion
It is no secret that Kylie Jenner has had a transformative career in terms of her business endeavors. However, the same sentiment could be made about her physical appearance, and we need answers as to why. Host Andy Cohen first asked if her lips and insecurities because of them helped catapult her into the beauty industry, to which Kylie said, “For sure. I think my love for makeup started with my insecurity with my lips.”
She continued: “I had really small lips, and I didn’t ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘“Oh my God, you’re such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,” or something like that. From then on, I felt unkissable. I had an insecurity because this guy said something to me one time. Then I got an obsession with makeup because I would overline my lips and it just made me feel confident.”
While Jenner did admit to getting lip plumpers, she denied ever getting plastic surgery. In fact, back in 2016 fans accused Jenner for getting jaw surgery, as her face was clearly changing shape. “You really think Kris Jenner would let a 16-year-old me have cheek and jaw reconstructive surgery? No. I was never self-conscious about my jaw, but before I got my lips done, my lips were very tiny and more like sunken into my chin.”
Lucky for Kylie Jenner, these sentiments were too shared by her older sister, Khloe, who also faced harsh criticism over the years due to her looks and rumors of plastic surgery.
Khloe faces the music
During the two-part reunion of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian admitted, prior to the show’s airing, that she was very secure with her physical looks. However, given her obvious physical changes over the years, that sentiment clearly did not keep up once Khloe Kardashian was seen on the public stage. Just what did Khloe Kardashian have to say about her security once KUWTK began to air?
“When the show first started, I was very secure. Very secure,” she said. “And then, during the first couple seasons, I became insecure because of the public opinions of myself.” Khloe Kardashian further elaborated that, while she has had a good stretch of positivity, she does struggle from time to time with her own image, saying “I guess it just goes, you know, up and down.” This has clearly been a lifelong battle.
Earlier on in KUWTK’s run, Khloe made the following comments regarding her appearance: “My soul is at a breaking point in regards to the public thinking they’re allowed to talk about my weight, my face, my personal life,” she said. “Actually, I don’t want to hear this anymore. I’ve always been incredibly open with this show and my life, but I just don’t think I have it in me anymore. It’s not healthy for my spirit.”
