Is the movie ‘Kill Bill 3’ happening? Quentin Tarantino reveals his dream cast

Quentin Tarantino is ripping up headlines this week, but not for any of his usual controversial nonsense. This buzz isn’t about a movie being made either, but rather a hypothetical scenario for ravenous members of the cult of Quentin. However, any talk of a possible movie begs the question to Tarantino fans – could a new flick be on the way?

This week’s viral news comes from Quentin answering questions about a possible Kill Bill sequel. We haven’t seen an installment for the now-iconic film series since Kill Bill: Volume 2 dropped on audiences back in 2004, and fans have been hopefully waiting for another flick ever since. So what did Quentin have to say? Here’s what we found.

Farewell film

All this Kill Bill craziness comes from (wait for it) The Joe Rogan Experience. Yes, folks – if you haven’t heard, ol’ Quentin made his way to the infamous supernova of a podcast this week making every incel in the country’s head explode with glee.

Quentin was on the pod to promote his One Upon a Time in Hollywood novel, but talk soon turned to another Kill Bill movie.

IndieWire summed up Tarantino’s appearance in a story this week, and revealed to those not in the know Tarantino has a planned retirement coming up (say what?). Those familiar with Tarantino’s work were shocked to see such a plan for the ego-driven loony tune, but there appears to be a method to his madness.

Reports say Tarantino plans to have his tenth film be his last, and fans wondered if he will make a third Kill Bill movie be his goodbye to cinema. However, the famed Pulp Fiction director says he wants his last movie to be an epilogue to his career, confirming to any skeptics that Tarantino makes films only for himself.

Sorry – we love Tarantino’s work, but the goofball seems to always love his movies more than anyone. As such, Rogan & Quentin soon got to talking about how a third Kill Bill movie might go if he were to make one. Well, if Tarantino isn’t making another Kill Bill movie, he certainly has all the blueprints laid out for someone else to make the sequel.

Bride & Bebe

Quentin told Rogan some specifics on how he would pull off a long-anticipated third Kill Bill movie. For starters, he knows who would play the now-grown-up daughter of Uma Thurman’s Bride from Kill Bill one & two – her daughter IRL, of course.

Uma Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke has been following in her mother’s footsteps with a budding acting career at age twenty-two, around the would-be age of The Bride’s daughter Bebe in a hypothetical third Kill Bill movie. Tarantino says Hawke would definitely star if he ever makes Kill Bill 3, but his plans don’t end there.

Pitched possibilities

Tarantino also explored the possibility of Vivica A. Fox’s character, Vernita Green, having her death avenged by a daughter as well. This idea sounds like something Quentin came up with offhand, but reports say Fox pitched the role to Zendaya already (oh really?). Damn, maybe we actually will see a third Kill Bill movie someday.

Furthermore, Quentin seems to have plenty of other ideas ironed out for a possible third Kill Bill movie. He’s quoted telling Rogan “Elle Driver is still out there, Sophie Fatale got her arm cut off, but she’s still out there . . . they all got Bill’s money. Actually, Gogo had a twin sister Shiaki and so her twin sister could show up”. Yes, Quentin, we suppose they could show up. We guess we’ll have to wait & see.
