Sloppy split: Is Kanye West delaying his divorce to Kim Kardashian?
Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s divorce ended up being one of the biggest celebrity news stories of 2021. However, another wrinkle has been added to the drama just before the year ends. According to several sources, Kanye West has purchased a house across the street from Kim Kardashian. This occurred only ten months after Kim K filed for divorce.
Despite being separated, Kanye West has publicly said he’s going to try to win her back. The two were married for six years, sharing children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm before their relationship ended in divorce. News of their split petered off for a while before Kim ignited the tabloids again with who she’s been seen with.
Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson is now allegedly dating Kim Kardashian. The two have been photographed together numerous times by paparazzi, with Kim seeming very happy with her new guy. Could Kanye West have bought his new house out of jealousy? Kanye keeps an eye on Kim
According to TMZ, Kanye West allegedly now owns a property that’s walking distance from his ex-wife’s Los Angeles mansion. The “Famous” hitmaker reportedly spent $4.5 million on his new house right across the street from Kim. The over-3,650 square foot property includes five bedrooms, a horse stable, and a swimming pool.
Even though the forty-four-year-old rap megastar just bought this whopper of a living space, he has said some conflicting things recently. Kanye West alluded that he’ll be homeless in a year’s time, divulging his plan to transition his real estate holdings into places of worship.
The “Heartless” crooner owns several lavish homes across the globe, most notably his beachfront property in Malibu and his Wyoming ranch. In an interview with the publication 032c, Ye mentioned his intentions to create an “artist commune.” Kanye said, “We are under capitalist rule, and it’s killing us.” West continued, “It’s time to change that.”
Kanye’s plans for the future
Now free from the Kardashian shadow, Kanye West seems to be entering a new chapter in life. The “Runaway” rapper told 032c, “I’m going to be homeless in a year. I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches.” West added, “We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go.”
The enigmatic musician stated, “It should be like an artist commune. Food should always be available.” While this idea does sound a bit like a cult, Kanye has taken real action against inequality. In an attempt to combat homelessness in Los Angeles, West donated 1,000 meals to L.A. Mission, where he met with CEO Reverend Troy Vaughn.
TMZ reported that after the Grammy-winner paid a visit to Skid Row in downtown L.A., he released a four-step plan to help the homeless. Additionally, the Donda composer is purportedly attempting to establish a relationship with various non-profits. This is all in an effort to feed the Southern California homeless community.
Kanye West is also allegedly planning to use his own business empire to provide education, housing, and work to those who need it. It seems as if Kanye is turning his focus outward after being labeled for years as an egomaniac. We’ll have to wait and see if he follows through on his promises for change.
