Who is Tom Hiddleston’s new mystery girlfriend?

Tom Hiddleston, everyone’s favorite dream man, has just gotten even further from our reach. On Monday, the Loki star was seen romancing in the idyllic landscape of Ibiza with his girlfriend Zawe Ashton. The relationship is not exactly new, as the pair have been dating since 2019. Yet, pictures of the couple are particularly rare considering their level of privacy.

Tom Hiddleston and his girlfriend Zawe Ashton have been keeping their love life on the low, which makes perfect sense as Hiddleston has more than a few sensitive fans. However, no one can help but compare the difference in his largely public and highly discussed relationship with singer Taylor Swift.

Actress Zawe Ashton & Tom Hiddleston showed some sweet PDA while swimming in the waters of Ibiza on Monday. Tom Hiddleston, forty years old, and Zawe Ashton, thirty-seven, only had eyes for each other despite traveling with friends. 

The pair changed into their swimsuits and headed into the water to embrace & kiss for all to see. Looking in love & stunning, both actors showed off their beautiful figures in their swimwear while also showing off their heartwarming romance.

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton met in 2019

Hiddleston and Ashton have never publicly confirmed their relationship, but the couple was first seen together in 2019 while starring in the West End play Betrayal in which they portrayed a strained couple. 

Just last year, it was reported that the couple had moved in together after months of rumors speculating their romance. Now, they are living together in Atlanta, Georgia where Hiddleston has been filming for Loki. 

An insider told The Sun, “Tom and Zawe have stayed quiet about their relationship but she has spent the last few weeks with him in the U.S. They are very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life away from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world”.

They continued, “Their lives are typically very busy, so spending time together while not working has been ­something they have both embraced. Tom has made a home in Atlanta during lockdown and he is ­expecting to spend the rest of the year there.” 

Hiddleston had to relocate to Atlanta last year to film the Loki series and was forced to stay due to the coronavirus lockdown. After spending time together during their performances in Betrayal in both New York & London, Ashton is now reported to have traveled to the U.S. to join him.

Privacy after viral Taylor Swift fling 

Although Tom Hiddleston and his new girlfriend seem happily in love, it’s much quieter than his highly publicized relationship with Taylor Swift in 2016. We all remember the photos of them in the ocean with Hiddleston wearing an “I Heart T.S.” shirt. 

Zawe Ashton & Tom Hiddleston have kept their love out of the spotlight ever since they met in 2019. As a result, some believe this is due to the plethora of unwanted attention from his 2016 fling with Taylor Swift.

One source told The Sun, “Tom really has fallen for Zawe in a big way. They’ve actually been together for more than six months. But he is so paranoid about his private life since his relationship with Taylor that he has gone to great lengths to keep this under wraps”.

Tom Hiddleston has previously shared with the New York Times his need for privacy after his relationship with Taylor Swift. He said, “Yes, I’m protective about my internal world now in probably a different way. That’s because I didn’t realize it needed protecting before”.
