Want to get more Google Traffic: Try Guest Posting!
Quality Backlinks = More Traffic
We all know backlinks are one of the most important factors in Google’s ranking algorithm.
But getting them is really hard.
That’s why Today, in this post I want to recommend to you my top method for getting backlinks.
It’s called: Guest Posting
In guest posting you will find blogs that accept posts from guest authors and publish them on their websites for free!
And in return you’ll get a backlink from their website.
But before we start, I want to clear some of your doubts!
Is guest posting safe?
Back in 2014, the then-head of Google’s web spam team Matt Cutts said, “Stick a fork in it: Guest blogging is done; it’s just gotten too spammy.”
Well that thing is somewhat true!
If done in the wrong way, guest blogging will not produce the results you’re looking for.
What you can do instead is this:
Write guest posts as you’re writing content on your own blog.
Provide value to the user.
By doing that you’re mostly safe.
Do Guest Posting Work?
Well, let see again what guest posting is:
In guest posting you’re writing an article on someone else’s site.
So, the core thing remains the same.
An article with a backlink to your site.
So, that’s guest posting.
It has to work no matter what.
Because you are getting backlink to your site.
Note: Guest Blogging will only work if you get dofollow links. Because google don’t counts the nofollow links.
How to find sites for guest posting?
In order to find guest posting sites you have to use google search operators.
Here’s how it works.
Let’s suppose you want to write a technology guest post.
So, what you can do is, search on google for this:
“Technology” + “write for us” or “technology” + “guest post”
By doing this you’ll find all the websites that have a write for us page on their blog.
You can use the exact same tactic to find more websites in your niche.
You can use the following search query:
“Your Keyword” + “Write for us”
[topic keyword] + “guest article”
[topic keyword] + “become a contributor”
But we all know that not all the sites are created equal.
Some may provide benefits and others don’t.
So, how can you do a quality check?
For doing that you can use Moz or Ahrefs.
Well you can’t just rely on DA or DR. You’ll have to manually check the backlinks.
I’d recommend you to leave those sites that have directory or spammy links.
That way you can choose a high quality site.
I Hope you’ve learnt something new from this guide.
